Have you ever had a Job...

Ummm, guilty. Only because people are so judgmental. I was an exotic dancer when I was young. I have to admit, I got a lot of exercise back then so I miss that part. But I have done all kinds of work. I have worked with carpet and sheetrock. I have been a receptionist, a secretary, worked in pet stores, cleaned houses, live in baby sitter, waitress and more. I worked for a towing service, in car dealerships, I've been a busy little girl. Hugs

Not that I can recall. I have had jobs that I hated and didn't want to put on the resume, but not embarassed of.

Nope, I've put everything I did in my resume and not ashamed to display it either.

Well, actually there is this one job I had at the mall. The name of the store was The Body Shop. They just sold juniors' clothing and jewelry and such. That's not the embarrassing part. Nearby was a strip club that was also named The Body Shop. Every time I put that on a resume, before the reader even finishes reading to see that it was a retail store in the mall, I get "the look." They think I worked at a strip club. So, admittedly, I have began to omit the specifics on my resume. I simply put "worked in retail" instead. That saves me the embarrassment. Then if they ask where, they already know that it was retail, not stripping.

Yes i most certainly have!... but im too embarrassed to mention it here too! In fact, iv had a couple of 'jobs' (lol) that id never mention on a CV in a million years ~ if i did, im pretty sure i wouldnt be getting that stuffy office job in a hurry! :) xxxxx
