I am in so much agony with this injury to my elbow that I'm going crazy and feeling somewhat sorry for me. hehehe. Have you ever hurt so bad you start to feel sory for yourself? My elbow is back in it's socket but the socket has a break in it so I have to be creful. The cast is off and they will decide April 29 on my next appointment if they will do surgery or not. I will be away from my computer for a few days. This is really too sore to do anything much. Later

I have heard so bad that I felt like killing myself to end the pain. Of course that is a figure of speech and I would not really do it but yes, I know exactly how you feel. I wish you luck hon.

hi! yes there were times that i hurt so badly that i feel really sorry for myself. that is everythime i fall in love and then get hurt. i guess it is just atural to feel that way. you feel that you are rejected. you feel sorry for yourself. but after the lapse of considerable time, everyone passes that stage and let go of feeling sorry for one's self.

Ohh i feel so sorry about your elbow injury. You should have atleast wrapped it with some plaster so that it wont get hurt again coz u will be using the hand very often. Once i was cooking and the pressure cooker blew spilling the hot ingredients all over the kitchen and i was standing way infront of the cooker and a part of that was spilled on my face. My forehead was burnt with that hot mixture boiling in the cooker. I stil have that mark on my forehead and when ever i see the mirror i feel sorry for mself.

I did have a cast on it but they cut it off to take xrays and didn't want it back on so I would use my arm so it doesn't stiffen up. I remember my mother telling a story about a pressure cooker blowing off the lid. That would make for one painful injury.

Really sorry to read about your elbow. I hope you will be ok and pain free soon. Well, I haven't hurt myself that bad. But, when I was a kid, I used to get painful boils on my body, which the doctor used to mercilessly squeeze. I did feel sorry for myself then. And when my milk teeth started to shake, my grandma used to pull it out with her fingers, and how it would hurt. Those were times I used to feel really sorry for myself. I don't feel that sorry now with my little aches and pains, just a bit inconvenienced. Wish you a speedy recovery. Cheers and happy mylotting.

Sorry to hear that. You are so young, I'm wondering is there any hope you can patch up the problem. If it's meant to be I think you'll get back together and if not, like I said you are so young that I'm sure it'll all work out to be a win win situation. I Thank You for your response good to hear from you. Good Luck.

Yes, after I broke my collar bone in three places, I felt sorry for myself, but not as much as this last car accident. My spine really was bothering me, esp. at the neck. TAke care

My collar bone was when I was in my 30s, so that's feeling much better now (I'm 50). My spine from my car accident is doing much better now. "This, too, shall pass." Not sure where that quote came from, but you will eventually feel better. Elbows hurt when you just bang them, so this has to be really painful. It will go away with time, though. Hope the pain killers they give you provide enough relief for you to sleep and aren't addicting. Take care.

Oh my dear, that sounds excruciating. I feel so sorry for you. It doesn't take much for me to feel sorry for myself and I reckon you're entitled so go right ahead. Hugs.

Having had a spell of breaking bones about every 7 years when I was young I can certainly feel for you. It will get better. I broke my elbow when I was 7, my thigh at 14 in which case I was bedridden for 6 months and my ankle when I was 21 about 2 months before I was to get married. To doctors I was known as an orthopedist's dream but a mother's nightmare. Good luck.

I am so sorry to hear your injury is so bad. yes, as a matter of fact i have injured myself so badly or felt so sick that I have felt sorry for myself. When I had my tubal pregnancy, I was in so much pain after the surgery I felt very bad for myself. I broke my hand once and believe me...I really felt sorry for myself hahaha! I hope that you get your elbow fixed up and you don't have to suffer for much longer with the pain. I know it hurts!

I've been told of one other person to have had a tubal pregnancy and the baby didn't make it. I was told the poor woman was in so much much pain as well as mentally shook up which I can well understand.

I admit to doing that for a couple of years... I gave in to the pain and let it rule me. I can honestly say I didn't like me much then... I prefer to be a fighter. Lately, doing whatever I can to escape the pain cycle has been my goal, and I feel I'm doing pretty well at it. I still have my alarm set for meds every 6 hours, but I have all that time in between doses to feel like a normal person, and I like it!

I'm sorry to hear that.I also have myself hurt last year.It was beacause of playing basketball.I have a crashed with the other one and my left eye was hurt.I also feel sorry to myself and told myself why I wasn't careful. So we should be carefully when we are do ing something. We should make sure our body is safe.

Oh dear that looks awful I hope you feel better soon! Make sure you take lots of painkillers (only what's stated on the safety box, though!). I find feeling sorry for myself comes VERY easily and I think you are entitled to for a while! Hope you feel better really soon!

Gosh trivial things have caused me to feel sorry for myself! I am sorry you went through that, OUCH! You have every right to feel sorry for yourself. Sometimes you just NEED to... but in my case it has been excessive at times.

I feel like this alot of times. I am always putting myself down when things go wrong in my life but alot of times it is not my fault at all. I start feeling sorry for myself and pitty myself too. I have also been in alot of pain in my stomach area at times also and I feel so sorry for myself because I cannot do anything about it. I hope you get to feeling better soon.
