My husband and I hold hands all the time when we're out if I'm not or he's not pushing the cart or stroller. We even hold hands when we're at home, while watching movies together after our daughter has gone to sleep!

Its funny...he and I do fight, but a lot of times our arguments take place via messenger. Don't get me wrong there are times when he argue out loud, but we try to keep at a minimum so the kids don't panic and think mom and dad are going to get a divorce! But we also practice the don't go to bed angry, we try to resolve all our issues before bed so that we both are able to get a good night sleep, not to mention I love his hands, and if we were fighting I couldn't hold it before I fall asleep!

I really like it when a guy i like holds my hand. Its a diffrent kind of connection. I think as time has gone by less people hold hands and it is sad because it is such a simple gesture.

I know in some countries even the men hold hands in the streets... (just friends) I guess in different countries they see it in a different way... But still, as you said it shows that they care for each other

Whether it's friends or partners holding hands,I think it shows a high level of intimacy - you are really close to the person. I hate the fact that my partner doesn't hold my hand in public anymore, because to me it is a sign that we are drifting apart.

I don't think it's more important than kissing, but probably just as important. It's a form of affection that can be displayed at anytime, generally without offending anyone, whereas kissing is usually a more private form of affection.

I see what you mean... Do you think the way you hold hands also makes a difference? Do you know what I mean?

I definitely think holding hands means a lot. My boyfriend and I hold hands a lot when we're out and about, and even when we're just sitting around at my house or his house watching a film or something. It's a really simple way of showing your affection for someone, in my opinion. And when you're out in public, it shows how happy you are.. and also tells other girls that my boyfriend is mine ;] lol.
