Honestly, does haha offend you guys? Does lol sounds more refine?

Hey guys, I need your honest opinions. I'm in the habit of going hahaahahaha instead of lol. I think it kinda got stuck to me. I don't normally use "lol" but just punching the keys hahaha is easier for me. Tell me guys, does it sound offensive? Is "lol" more refined? Or even "lmao"? I think maybe hahaha sounds like TYPING IN BOLD LETTERS WHICH FEELS LIKE ONE IS RAISING HIS VOICE OR SHOUTING? But I guess some people also have the habit of typing in bold especially when it comes to MSN when you have too many emoticons. So what do you guys think?

Haha is definitely not offensive to me. It's not any less refined than lol. It is part of your personality and I think honest personality is great here on MyLot. More power to ya!

i use hahahaha to or sometimes whahahaha. i also used lol. i will not get offended if you use hahaha as long as there is really something funny. right? some people are annoting if they use hahahaha or lol on a serious topic. so if we are having fun then we can laugh out loud.... feel free to say HAHAHAHA or HOHOHO. wink wink

you are right there zweeb, laughter is still the best medicine. and if you laugh a lot the world will laugh with you. so as long as you wont hurt anyone then laugh out loud. whahahahaha.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest. I am used to most of the abbreviations used these days, and find that it doesn't really matter too much at all now.

I hate 'lol'. I think it's so daggy. I tend to type 'hahaha' because it sounds more real and genuine. When someone laughs they don't go "oh!!! loll lol lol!" they say "haha". Actually I tell a lie, I have heard a few of my friends say 'lol' sarcastically. I have also heard them say "rofl" and "lmao". Sad.

It really doesn't matter to me much on how people type. It just kinda bugs me when people spell lots of words really wrong. Like a few mistakes is one thing but having the whole discussion spelt wrong is a bit annoying.

Oh ok. Thx for the response. Ya I agree, when there's too much typo error it does get a bit annoying. But sometimes it's unavoidable though. It's like when you see it & want to correct it but you've already hit the "post comment" button, get what I mean ;)

its not offensive at all.. sometimes i feel typing hahahhahahah really shows how happy u are and you're laughing away while you type.. and lol is like LOL and its so short.. its like you dun feel the laughing.. hehhhehe :P

Hi there. Personally I dont find "hahaha" as being offensive in anyway, I use this alot myself, especially when Im talking about something funny. After all it only helps the reader to get the humour in the post. To be honest, Ive probably used "hahaha" more then Ive used the simple "lol". Have a good one zweeb...
