Shoplifting

How many of you here done shoplifting?
When I was in highschool, my friends dares me to go with them for a trip, it was shoplifting trip. we went to a mall and started to look for something which we can took easily without noticing. one of my friend took a jacket, put it on then walk out of the mall without getting caught, another friend of mine took an imported chocolate, walk at the counter, as he was near the counter, he was bumped by another friend of mine, then he passed the chocolate then passed again and again till it reaches me, I was very afraid then, but to cut the story short, we walk out the mall with the chocolate, unnoticed. After that I refused to go with them anymore.

omar o913 I am proud of you for refusing to go with them anymore. shoplifting is a criminal offense. Shoplifting adds on to the cost of things we buy because the cost is passed on from the store to the consumer. I did it just once when I was very young and mymom caught me at it and made me take the item back to the store and tell the clerk what I had done. Idid not get into trouble as I was only six years old. but its a very sneaky crime and not worth it.

Good for you for not wanting to go with them anymore. It's only a matter of time before they would have gotten caught and you along with them.
I've never shoplifted, but I've seen people doing it. That's what helps make our food prices go up. The store doesn't pay for that, the shoppers do. So, when they are shoplifting, they are really stealing from me and everyone else who pays for their items. It's definitely a very anti-social crime.
I remember one time when a family boxed me with their carts near a rack full of chips so that no one could see them stealing them. Luckily, I was able to move away and I think they got caught. It was at one of those stores where they check your receipts. All I know is that they had a scared look on their face when I left the store far ahead of them.
