My Rant about some rude Mylot reviews.....

I must vent it now. I am a dedicated member of Mylot. today my network connection was not functioning properly. so i just loaded google.com to get mylot from there. there i came acroaa some Rubbbish review about Mylot.
I know many people come here to become millionaire in a day. when they can't do so they just say these nasty things.
I am also pasting siome part of it. just see

myLot is a good idea handled badly,alot of work is needed before it will gain in stature.and the site would improve tenfold if monitored properly,get rid of the scammers and the spammers and you would have a useful site. on the money side they pay out when they say they will no excuses needed.
at the moment I would rather use yahoo answers for information when need it ,and use mylot for the trivial stuff to make a little money.
out of ten I would give myLot a 4 it would be less if they didn't pay out like they do.[/b]

This appears to be a website accommodating the D's and E's of society; a really let-down website for those who have an IQ of around 100 and whose daily thoughts rarely manage to rise above their navels. Now, I have nothing against people living on the 'sub-continent' but the verbal garbage that emanates from India is totally underwhelming. Well apparently this person has not used it very well and know very little about the usefulness of the site and the intelligence of the people that are its members. I would not listen to such reviews and really not worry about them because they are just as unintelligent as the people that wrote them.

Oh some ppl really dont know what they talk, or may b they do and want it right out n hurt others. I never read something like that b4, and yeah it did hurt me too, and im with you in my supprt...

Do not pay attention to such people or their criticisms... they have nothing better to do... history is proof that Indians have contributed a lot to the world and is still contributing in the field of science, mathematics, and technlogy... and i think that person is unaware of that...
I have great respect for Indian culture and ingenuity...

Prejudice, racism, sexism and all other "isms" come in many forms unfortunately. It's already in our system and culture since time immemorial. A lot of people are guilty to some extent. Almost always, it's usually a case of who is more superior.
For the Aussie who seems to be suffering from delusions of grandeur, I wonder if he heard about how a lot of people from the UK still thinks that theirs is a nation of exiles and convicts.
I do not mean this to be another nation/race bashing post... I only wish people would be more tolerant of individual and cultural differences. Better yet, people would learn to be more considerate of other people's inadequacy or misfortunes.

they are indeed nasty review and I am also a dedicatedmember of some five weeks. I loved mylot with all its bumps and its perfections and am going to stay here come hell or high water. I have met a lot of really nice people and it hurts me to read garbage like that review that says we all have IQ's of 100 as I have met alot of people who seem really very intelligent and knowledgeable about a lot of things. Its really a harsh review on mylot. and you are correct that people come here hoping something and happens something else. then they start commenting in this rude fashion. but anyway irrespective of other comments we here knows what it is. and thats all important and we are enjoying it. hence, these comments pass by but we take it in our stride and move forward. cheers! Let it pass by Subha. Web is a place which will accommodate the most unthinkable things and dirt. It is no use ranting. You cannot change the attitude of people who come in all the shades possible. The best thing is to select the ones you like and stick to it with your heart whole. That is what we are doing. We are and cannot be influenced by anything unnecessary. If possible we can give it a thought as to what made them to make such comments abut the writings of some Indians. Sadly I too come across someone here who is a moron and so dirty.Well it may be a case of a drop of poison in a pot of milk. If that person realizes it is fine. It is an undeniable fact that people from India or any other country has to improve on certain attitude problems.

I cannot claim to be surprised because there are always going to be bad opinions presented by someone whatever the true case may be.
I never waste my time reading reviews because I have my own opinion of Mylot, and I am very happy with the site and the choice of content. If someone dislikes the site then they can simply stay away.

well? i guess youre right ..really some people who have the habit or having fun of making rude comments and even making some unsolicited reviews
..i guess such kind of remarks or comments should be ignored..since you know from with in that its not really true..dont waste time thinking about some people making some rude comments on your country ...since you really cant please anyone..

I'm definitely in the boat that Mylot needs to be moderated. Those that can't really form complete sentences, those that do nothing but copy others replies or posts and those that spam the boards just need to be gotten rid of. They make this place a lot worse than it should be, and it gives the place a bad reputation. Some people here really work hard and are smart, but others here, obviously are not. Is Mylot a nice place? Yes. Could it use improvement? Yes. Are there people here that give this place a bad name? Absolutely.

I think we must all act civilized to one another here at Mylot. I think we should all be treated equally and none of us should be singled out. I think we all have the right to be here. I sure hope you do not have to deal with nay problems here. this is to be fun and rewarding for all kinds of people.

These are people who didn't take the time to really look through MyLot, or didn't have the patience to actually earn here. This is part of the reason that I wrote my article about MyLot, because there is so much negative propaganda out there, that people are reluctant to come here. But I must say that we are better off without these unaccepting people, and they can keep ranting about MyLot all they want. Those that can, do, those that don't rant!!!

Hello dear subha. I think that it is not nice of the person to speak evil things against our favorite mylot. I quite agree with your view on this and support you in your vent 100%. Let's make every effort of ours to have our gorgeous mylot community a better one!

It seems that there are some people in the world that are just rude and ignorant, and they are best just to be ignored, because you will never teach them any values of anything. It is all too easy to sit in front of a keyboard and a monitor and say demeaning things about people, but would they dare step into the limelight, show themselves and say these things? Nah, I do not think so. I support you in your vent, it is well justified.

Don't let it bother you. This is just one person's opinion. The second review targets people from a certain country and is downright nasty. I think we all know Mylot is not an intellectual site, people talk mostly about their lives and problems. Those who post more intellectual topics get very few answers. But who is to say this is all wrong? Lots and lots of people enjoy Mylot and all it offers and that should be the aim. There are plenty of shallow discussions on Yahoo Questions and Answers as well.

those are very rude words indeed. it seems that Alastair has a grudge on Indians. i pity him. these kind of people thinks highly of themselves but they are just lowly people who are full of air in their heads. they see the flaw of others but they don't see their own flaws, which is really dumb.
well, they can say anything they want about myLot but i'm not letting those kind of people affect my opinion about this site. myLot will forever be a nice social network site for me. i say, don't pay attention to them subha. don't let them get into you because they aren't worth your time.

Hi the comments posted on net about the Mylot are very bad. I think people who post such comments dont have any IQ at all. Moreover the language he used for India is intolerable. Dont the guy know that world will always be grateful to India for its contributions to wards the development of world as a whole. The country he resides in Is full of INDIAN. the counting he counts is the blessing of India. Digit 0 was first of all used by Indian. Yoga has origin In INDIA. Today Most of the well known ITicians, Engineers. Scientist are Indian. What the hell this guy needs more.
