Yes i have watch all 3 parts of The Lord of the Rings like you did. I did it in one sitting. I buy a pirated copy of this 3 part, sorry but i cant afford to buy original one. It took me 8 hours to finish it.

Yes I have seen all three of them in one go and I have the extended versions. It took 12+ hours to do but it was still good. I even did all the extras the next day just because.

i want to do it but i actually haven't tried it yet. one big reason is because the dvd we have is the extended edition... so it'll take more than 8 hrs or so to finish all 3! but i do want to do it... maybe someday... hihihi!

It took me around 10+ to finish all the three in one shot cos i downloaded Extended versions of the movie and each one was around 3.5 Hrs.. It was awesome to see them all in one go. Made the story more exciting. I have done the same with pirates series also. I'm planning to do it again with the LOTR, after the exams I have.. bourne

Hi, Discussing on watching many movies at one go. I did once and it was not on DVD and not Lord of Rings either but in movie theaters with 3 different movies. It was an experience all right. Unlike watching on DVD, we are not in control for going to the loos, food, taking fresh air etc. And the 3 were shown on 3 different cinemas. Sorry that this is not about LOTR but hope I shared your experience on marathon movie watching.
