I have come across quite a number of E-Books(Books in electronic format for reading in our computers;which can be read using a software called acrobat reader) but the content of most of the E-Books are meant for the intermediate readers and not for the beginners. Why is it so? or Do publishers intentionally do so?

I like collecting E-books. They have many formats. If it's PDF, then I will use a smaller software called PDF Reader to read it. I don't like Acrobat Reader as it's very big and PDF Reader works better and faster.

I think that the E-Book industry is still forming and there just aren't that many E-books available overall right now. In a few years, they may expand and eventually have all kinds of varieties in books for all levels of reading. Also, the technology to read these books (the e-book reader) is still pretty new and will get better. So, if it were me, I would be patient and hope that more varieties will be available soon.
