I often hear of all the doomsday scenario's that will wipe mankind of the face of the planet. Global warming. Nuclear war. Plague. What i have never heard mentioned yet, is the one scenario that truely worries me! sat global warming or an iceage decimates the planet. some of us will survive. But here's the kicker. I have never heard anyone discussing what happens to all the nuclear power plants around the world. surely they need manual attention or they will overload. so i expect no matter what way we get 'removed' from Earth, we will still manage to screw it up for every other living thing when the plants go BANG! i hope someone can prove me wrong!

God can fix that too.... Psalm 46:9 says not only that God is making wars to cease to the extremity of the earth, but also he will "break the bow apart and cut the spear in pieces" i.e. destroy all weoponry. If it were just up to men, we'd be lost. But God has his eye on things and will act at his due time....

Most plants are built with safeguards to them in case of physical damage or overload. There is even the SCRAM or other type shutdown command which takes less than 5 seconds. http://www.nucleartourist.com/systems/rp.htm

I think the world will end some day soon but I am not sure if it will be in my lifetime though. There have been many weird changes with the weather lately and we had an earthquake here in the past week. We have never felt anything like that here before. It is very weird. I am so surprised that the ocean waters has not overtaken us yet either.

If people die off from global warming or ice age we will have time to shut down the powerplants before the workers there die
