can you sit in front of your computer for 8 straight hours?

i can spend more than 8hours on my system depending on what i am doing at that particular time. infact to be sincere i can spend a whole day on it. u know u learn new skills and all that.

I am so sorry to say that I couldn’t sit for such a long time in front of the computer or tv. After I have done my computer work or watching tv for two hours or so, I prefer to do other house chores. So that there will be a change of posture which is believed to be good for our health.

YUp im an internet addict. We have an inet cafe and im the one managing it. Im in of the computer almost half the day or more. Quite stressing though but its fun for me. Sometimes one day is not enough for me that im hesitant to sleep lol!

i can sit infront of computer for 8 hours I sometimes sit for 5 hours and i sat for 8 hours twice

I could sit in front of my computer for 8 straight hours, if I didn't have kids to deal with. I have my computer on for longer than that, but I do other things while it is on. I have to cook dinner, wash laundry, do dishes, get kids bathes and ready for bed. I do spend the majority of my free time in front of the computer though. When the kids are gone, I can sit here for longer. It all depends on what I need to get done.

I sit at the computer a great deal of the day, however I do get up to take a break to stretch my legs and give my eyes a chance to relax for a few moments. And of course I am getting something to drink also during my little breaks from the PC.

Yes, I can do. I did and I am doing this on myLot for the past two weeks of vacation.

yeah... i stay up almost 12-15 hours a day... in the office and then in my boardinghouse... i worked as a CAD(computer aided drafting) operator and then surf the net after work... i also use the net even in my work... and during weekends i stay more than 15 hours... that is how boring my life is... well i hate going out, coz i just spend a lot of money, that i earn for a week, in just one day..

Make it 10, although I should have a constant supply of water to the table. Thats the only thing that I ever need.. bourne

Yup... Plenty of times. The longest I think was about 10hours(6pm to 4am) straight, using a CRT monitor. I spent the time playing on the computer and I was surprised that my eyes didn't hurt.

yes.. definitely i can do that... coz my work is 12 hrs a day for 4 days... so i have no choice, i juz have to do my job so i can earn money... :)

I can't bear the pain associated with sitting 8 hours in front of the computer. It affects my vision and my health in general. I just log in when I'm comfortable and spend 3 hours the most! But i'm still earning...

I have done that before, but it usually when I have a major project due. It can be very tiring. Especially doing scanning, croping, organizing. I can really be a prefectionist sometimes. Or something just doesn't work right, so I end up fiddling with it forever.

yes i can sit in front of the computer for 8 straight hours. i've done that quite a number of times already but it's not something that i'd recommend to anyone. sooner or later your back and eyes are going to hurt.
