Do you avoid buying hybrid fish like the red parrot cichlids?

There are so many colorful natural fish, why does any one wish to spend their money on a fish that does not live in the wild? I am sure that you can find a fish to fit almost any color or size that you wish that are naturally found in the wild (but are being bred in captivity). If you know that an animal is a hybrid do you leave it at the store or do you buy it any ways?
