Name food You Refuse To Eat

Canada

Name food you absolutely refuse to eat. For me it's maccaroni and tomatoes. That is just wrong. I like maccaroni but not messed up with tomatoes. There are only a few things I won't eat they are mac & tomatoes, cantelope, pumpkin pie and not many sweets.

McDonalds! Or burger king, or any of those horrible excuses for food that feel like rubber and taste like god knows what. I used to east fast food I really did, and now thankfully I've managed to stay away for over a year. I have my exceptions though I have to admit. Some stuff from KFC aren't as bad. I'll go as far as popcorn chicken. And on occasion I've had a (home-ovened) pizza, but then I do regret it after. I'm not a very healthy eater I'd just rather not eat something quite that processed that doesn't even look or feel like food!

I think this response is awesome for two main reasons. one being that you answered my post which I thank you for and rate you a + and because I think it's awesome you're not a junk food addict. Too many people are. Thanks

Three words "My colleagues' cooking". And I thought my mom did bad when she is in her lazy mode but my colleague topped it hands down. And to cream the cake, they decide to cook every day for lunch. I had to resort to bringing my own lunch to avoid eating what they cooked and having to pay for it and wash up afterwards.

It's not what they cooked but rather how to cooked it. Would you be interested in overcooked, swollen limpy vegetables, overcooked chicken meat, soup base so diluted it taste like tap water, just to name a few?

OMG, yes!!! If it has suckers, it will NEVER enter my mouth!!! I won't even give it a chance to prove what its texture is!!! My friend loves fried calamari - that appetizer is all his when he orders it. The only time I share is when they've included veggies in it. My father once ate fried octopus tentacles, but better him than me. I'm no sucker!! Won't eat suckers!! LOL

hehehe You're hillarious. Love how you set me straight on liver and peas. hehehe. Too funny. The only time I cook canned peas is when I make cream peas, my family love them. I always use frozen vegetables but we do like peas and eat a fair bit of them.

I love food... except for those things! I usually eat my veggies raw... thats the best flavor, to me. Then frozen, which I use in pot pies, soup, etc. I don't mind canned corn, beets, things like that... but not okra... canned okra is almost as bad as canned peas!

Liver is horrible. I like peas. Especially right from the garden. I miss that now that I have not had a garden for so many years. Four years, because of no place to have one where we are renting. I love to eat veggies raw too. Almost all of them are better raw than cooked or steamed.

Any sort of offal (animal insides like kidney, brains, tripe, tongue, etc). I can't stand the thought of eating that stuff and nothing will ever make me do so, ewwwwww..!

Ewwwwwww.....organ meats! There's no way in this world I'd eat any of that stuff, yet in some cultures it's considered a delicacy. My Grandmother used to make kidney, brains, heart, etc. and I just hated it. I know it's her cultural recipies, but still....yuk!! I still know people who eat this stuff, and if they're cooking it I can't even stand to be in the house because of the smell. That is about the only kind of food that I will not touch with a ten-foot pole. Even typing this and thinking about this makes me queasy lol.

For me it is liver. People have tried to sneak it on me but I always find it. I also dont care for wild game. I dont like deer meat or duck or goose. Oh, and when one of the guys on "Survivor" caught a rat and ate it I had to change the channel. Yuck!

I will not eat liver, tongue, or heart of beef or any other animal. My parents used to think that these meats were richer in nutrients, and encouraged my brothers and I to eat them. When my parents weren't looking, I'd toss the meat to the dog.

I don't even know you or have any clue what you look like but I can see you sneaking the food to the dog. We have a commercial here of a little boy doing that very thing. The commercial is to promote the sale of children vitamins. Too funny. The kid gets caught because the dog is the size of a small horse and he makes as much noise as a pig when he eats. I love commercials with kids in them, as you've guessed. Thank You for your response. Rated +

Oh, unfortunately there are only a few foods I won't eat. I don't care for lima beans at all. I don't like the texture or the taste. I used to cover them up with other food when I was made to eat them as a child. I also don't like any canned fish for instance - herring, mackerel, anchovies - any of those fish that come whole and looking at you inside the can. Ewwwww!. Of course, I could get into gross stuff to me like eel, octopus, tripe.

I can't stand mayonaise. I will not eat it, I don't even like it on my plate if it came with a sandwich from a restaurant...it just really grosses me out!! I can eat some things made with it, like potato or macaroni salad - but the sight of it plain is enough to make my stomach start churning.

There are several foods that I simply refuse to eat. The first is liver. I actually have to leave the home if it is being cooked as the smell simply makes me nauseous. I have tried liver prepared in several ways and I just can't stomach the taste. Another food that I refuse to eat is oysters. The consistency really gets to me, especially on the half shell! Cooked spinach is another food that I absolutely can't swallow. I put it in my mouth and it seems to swell and grow and I must spit it out. Strangely, I LOVE raw spinich in salads! I'm sure that there are others, but I can't seem to think of them at this moment.

Yeah, we could dine together, we'd just have to fix something that we both enjoy! Heck, I'd forego the meal just to enjoy your company. I'd be happy with a tall glass of ice tea and your company! Thanks for keeping Mom and I in your thoughts and prayers. We are muddling along..hour-by-hour, day-by-day.

I love noodles and I couldn't be without chicken but cantelope makes me vomit literally. I have no idea what it even tastes like. As soon as someone cuts it open I'm gagging till I vomit. I was told it had the same effect on my grandmother.

If there is one thing I wouldn't really eat, it would be pork liver. I never really wanted how it tastes. There are many Filipino dishes that have pork liver and so when my dad or mom cooks any of these, they make sure that it doesn't have any pork liver as I wouldn't really touch the food. I don't know but I really do not like how it tastes.

I'm addicted to olives therefore I rarely buy them because the jar is empty soon after purchase but the only other pickles I really like is dill pickles. I never tried anchovies but I love spinach and acorn squash done in the oven then put butter and salt and pepper.
