Do you know aspirin is a deadly drug it can rise to the problem called gastritis (commonly known as gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer). why it does so? To know that you need to know the mechanism of action of the drug.It
inhibit cox inhibitor , Now you want to know what is cox inhibitor its a
protein molecule in the body actually act as a block receptors in body, There is two types of cox inhibitor namely COX1 COX2 now pain sensation is felt for the COX2 aspirin block this cox2 and also cox1 but the cox1 acts to prevent excessive hcl secretion from stomach. So as aspirin block cox1, gastric hcl secretion is increased and the result is gastritis. cox 1 also helps in hemostasis
so the disease in which you should not use aspirin are
1. any gastric problem or take with a antacid
2. never take aspirin in coagulative disorder disease like hemophilia, christmas disease, gastric bleeding etc.

if you go back to last 40 years or so, aspirin has been used for different set of diseases. then a decade later old disease is discarded and aspirin is assigned a new curative ability with a new disease.
i do not know much about the chemical part of it, but this much i can say with certainty that it is harmful to the body and the quantity each tablet contains is too high for human consumption. pharma companies and their researchers do not seem have the basic knowledge of human body and how it reacts to chemicals.
