Where would you spend your next birthday?

Everyone loves birthday parties but it also means expenses. With the current economic condition, would you still entertain the idea of going out on a party with your family and friends or would you just be contented celebrating at home?

I'm turning 18, and here in the Philippines when young ladies turn 18 years old, it's in our tradition that we celebrate it-it's as important as the 1st birthday. it's a milestone. We call it debut...It's the counterpart of sweet-16 in the US only that we celebrate when we're 18. So i'll be having my debut but i won't be splurging much for the party. I wont have the formal debut party that follows tradition. instead, i'll have my party at a resto-bar where people can really dress up and part-ay!!

I would be content on staying home. I normally don't do anything on my birthday anyways, except maybe going out to dinner. I still take my kids places for their birthdays though.

I am not much into birthdays anymore but this year me and my bff are going away for a long weekend without our hubbies and her kid. It is the year I am going to concentrate on me. I doubt it though, famous last words...

I am actually going to be spending my birthday this year with my parents. My husband is gone and they didn't want me to spend my birthday alone. So, they bought me a plane ticket as my present! My daughter and I wll be flying out there to spend a month with them. I am very excited to have the vacation from my everyday life. What a great birthday present!

I think I would love to spend my next birthday in Australia or New Zealand as I have only heard about those places. It would be lovely to experience them, especially as they both have such great reputations, and in the company of a fabulous new companion!

On my next birthday I do not want to celebrate it at home - oh no no no!! lol. But neither do i want a party or a an extravagant celebration. I want to celebrate my birthday some place else - in beach or somewhere close to nature. I have not celebrated a birthday in that way ever since so I want this year to be different. =)

I would celebrate my next birthday party at a buffet place in Saratoga, New York. It is GOLDEN CORRAL. It is the best ever buffet place. They are about to build one in Queensbury, NY. I enjoy the stuff there, especially steak/beef. Sometimes I have more than one celebration, mostly at my sister's house.
