What exactly is the upfront payment, my friend in the US said he was offered $7.01 for his article, what does that mean? I was also wondering, how much did you get for your articles for Upfront payment? Because, I think $7 is a fair bit. Thanks for helping~Nobody

Upfront payment is a payment they will give you for articles that they feel will be useful to the site. They will pay you some up-front money for your article and in exchange you will not post it anywhere else, then you can still earn money on top of that when people read your article.

The way that Upfront Payments work (aside from Calls for Content - C4C): 1) You write your article and submit it for Upfront Payment. 2) A Content Manager will review the article and make any corrections or modifications that they feel will improve the overall article (typos, SEO, etc.) They will also offer a payment for the article. 3) You can choose to accept the payment and changes or make further changes and re-submit. 4) If you accept, your article will be published and AC will pay you to your PayPal account in the amount agreed upon. It is also possible that the article will be rejected. In this case, you can opt for submitting the article for performance payments only. Articles submitted for upfront payments are also going to earn performance payments.
