moderate or not to moderate

More and more often we hear about fights being staged and posted on Youtube and other similar sites. The problem at the moment is that there is no over what is uploaded to these sites. Should these sites, like Youtube have a moderator system where anything uploaded is checked before going live?

I never thought about moderators in Youtube. It surely is needed to have moderators or at least checking the videos. But I guess the manpower needed to view all those videos will put great pressure on the system as well as financially. It all depends on users taking the time and marking videos as inappropriate. But then again, what's stopping someone from posting back up a video that was removed?

i think that as with anything, rules should be followed and entries should be moderated. a free site like that is prone to abuse if not moderated. so i am for moederating you tube.
