Do you use your dryer for drying your clothes??? I do (well not right now.. its broke.. easy fix.. but not frugal). we have cloths lines on our front porch. the dogs would eat them if they were out back... but we hang everything out there... the one thing I hate is socks... ugh... they take forever! lol Anyway... do you use your dryer or do you use cloths line?

I use the dryer because that's all I have available. We're renting right now and there's no good place to put a clothesline anyway. When I get my own place again that's one thing I'm hoping to have room for, in an where there are no trees blocking the sun (that would also hold the birds that might poop on my clothes!).

just buy you a shower rod and put it in the middle of the shower/bath... you can hang lots on hangers and dry in the house.... then they are allready hung for the closet! LOL

I could if this place wasn't so small already. Two of us are living in 600sf and the bathroom is so small I can literally brush my teeth, use the bathroom and take a shower at the same time!

I don't have a dryer at home. I just hang clothes outside. Since we are in a tropical country, the climate is so humid and hot, our clothes gets dry easily just by hanging on a clothes line.

I have to do that, I don't do laundry! My daughter does and she uses the dryer to dry them. She is saving us money from going to the laundromat so she is doing our clothes every week at her boyfriends apartment. I buy her groceries or something they need in exchange, but it comes out cheaper than $50! I can't wait to get our house though. One of the first 2 things I am getting is a washer and dryer. Hurricane Katrina took ours and well, living in a trailer with no place to connect it, I didn't get new ones.

I don't even own a dryer to get the urge to use it. We hang our laundry inside the apartment, up in the "attic" area. We do the cold wash cycle too, to use less energy. We are frugal in many ways.

We don't have a drier and try to hang our clothes outside to dry whenever possible. One of the problems with living in the UK is that although it doesn't usually get that cold, at least in the South of England, we have a lot of rain and moist days. In winter the house sometimes looks like a laundry!

all winter we hung our cloths on hangers and hung them in the bathroom on rods in the shower... if it was exceptionally cold I would put a little heater in there... cause the bathroom alwys needs to be warm! LOL

I would love a clothesline but due to community rules, they are not allowed. So I have to use the dryer.

i have four children and they are all teens now. if we wash clothes we use dryer before hanging it outside. it dries fast and we can wash another load while waiting it to dry. we dont have a big cloth line so we really need the dryer so we can hang another batch of clothes. we dont have much hanger too.

I don't have a dryer... so i just hang all the clothes to dry... but i do refrain from using the washing machine too much to save electricity and water... so i hand wash some clothes... this is not really good for the hands... but definitely good for the pocket... if you know what i mean...

during the winter we use the dryer but during the summer we save on gas and dry them outside or we hang some of them in the bathroom.

I used to use clothes lines and had four rows of them.. But we bought another place and It didn't have the clothes lines, but we do have a dryer, so I just use the dryer.. I really hadn't thought of using the clothes lines, although I did always enjoy hanging my clothes out to dry.. I never even minded the socks, lol..
