It most certainly is a terrible time for us here in Australia and the farmers are really suffering. Unfortunately many will find it extremely difficult to stay on their farms, which in turn will mean higher food costs for everyone in the country. For water conservation, instal water saving showerheads or preferably take a bath as that uses less water than a shower does. When you turn on the tap, place a container under the tap and collect the first bits of water and use it in the garden, washing machine or even to wash the cars. If you can redirect the water from your washing machine, put it onto your garden or even reuse it for a second wash. This will save you both water and money. :) Bath water that is not too soapy can also be collected in a bucket and put onto the lawn, garden or used for washing the car. Put the children through the same bath water, and even get into the bath with them so you save a bit more water.

Really sorry to hear about the droughts that hit your country. I am very thankful that there is no severe drought in my country. The only man-made disaster is the HAZE problem cause by the neighbouring country which affect the air quality and the people's health in my country ...this situation will last for quite some times and repeated each year ! This is a real frustration !

Sorry to hear that. I think it is time that people become aware of the scarcity of water.

No real drought. Here we are over a foot low as far as yearly rainfall but it's isn't devastating for us. I am really sorry to hear about your drought though. I can't imagine how you are making it through but good luck to everyone there and here's hoping it pours :)
