What did you do before computers were here?

Well, I used to go to bed early with a good book to read! But now sometimes I'm still sitting at the pc at 1am!!! Reading, surfing and chatting! No wonder i have major problems getting up in the mornings!LOL I used to read, sit and watch the telly properly, shopping, housework. Now can't wait to switch pc on and read while drinking my cuppa hot water in the morning and last thnig at night with my cuppa horlicks and countless times i pass the pc during the day!!

I used to do stuff like watch Whos the Boss on tv, play under the waterhouse, climb trees...all that fun stuff that kids these days hate!! :)

Reading, TV and walking mostly. And listening to music...
The internet takes up way too much of my time now but on the other hand it allows me to keep in touch with people and meet new people.

I think I was in school a lot before most people started getting computers in their home. So, I was probably reading and studying more. I do the same amount of exercise as I've always done. I guess I would say I used to read for pleasure more and, like you said, watching the TV properly instead of having it on as background noise. I also think I was talking on the phone much more than I do right now. Nowadays, I don't talk on the phone to people at all.

I used to watch a lot of TV and would often stay up late. Now I read a lot more as I don't have a TV. I prefer using the computer and I am on the internet early in the morning until lunchtime and again later in the day.

I read a lot of books, and still do. I work from home so I spend my day hours, when everyone else is at work, on the computer, and spend my evenings and weekends with my family. I only get on the computer briefly before bedtime to check email for anything I need to deal with before the next day, which there seldom ever is! I also take time during the day to take a walk or do something else that gets my butt out of the computer chair!

You sure can't lived without the internet. I'm basically doing the same thing now before the internet arrived. I still watched TV (more on movies and less on series), read books, go to the mall, and just go outside with nature. I maybe used the internet about an hour per day and used the PC more playing games. So I guess the PC has more effect on me than the internet.

I used to watch movies on TV, read a book. Listen to music, oh I still do all of those things. But the Internet take more of my time. When ever I have done my must do things I always take the time for Internet, and I have to say, the TV is also on and I now these days do both Internet and movies at the same time.

LOL ^_^ i used to sleep early too or at most i will watch tv or movies till latest about 2am and i'll be asleep.. Ever since i've got a computer, every morning when i wake up, i will straight away switch on my pc b4 washing up.. haha.. At night b4 i sleep, i will log on to the pc again till about 3-4am in the morning b4 i go to bed.. LOL

I grew up with computers but before computers were here I played some games with my neighbours and watching TV (pokemon ^^).

Hi There.
Well, before we had a computer, I usually watch all tv series and movies all the time (I still do but I balance it with using the PC hehehe).
I will go out with friends every weekends. And before I sleep, I read a lot of pocketbooks lolz. Oh and talk on the phone a lot! heheeh
