Justine Bateman on Desperate Housewives

Justine Bateman plays Ellie Leonard on Desperate Housewives. What do you think of her living with Carlos and Gaby? We know what she is doing and that Gaby can't just ignore the drugs. Do you think this storyline should be on the show right now?
We have the very serious storyline with Lynette and her troubles and Katherine with her ex, who abused her. Bree dumping her husband and next week Susan with her mother in law. I'm feeling depressed just reading my post.

guess that is why they call the show desperate housewives, because they have all these desperate things happening to them. I don't watch the show all that much so I really don't know what is happening on it.

They make my life look good. I wouldn't trade my life with any of them. It makes me realize money isn't everything and having money would not make my life perfect. Thanks for the reply.

Thats who that woman was! I knew, I knew her but couldn't place her name, she's aged........guess that means so have I.........sigh......Love desperate Housewives and love where the story is going! can't wait for next weeks episode!

I think Gabi and Carlos will make it comical-- The show is ok to me. I lost interest last year... but started to watch it again. I love Justine bateman- I also love jason Bateman (been years since I've seen him in anything). Something good will happen soon :) Man Lynette is in for some fun- that little girl is pyscho!

Jason Bateman is doing movie work. He is in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Hancock and State of Play in 2009.
The daughter is crazy and she scares me. I'm sure we will be seeing her in counseling soon. She needs a lot of help.

I kept thinking that the lady playing Ellie looked familiar. Never read the credits,lol! I remember Family Ties! Was that REALLY that long ago??!! I hope something works out that she gets probation or something and stays on the show.

I hope they will give us some of the fun stuff in with all this seriousness. That's the main reason I watch the show - for all that absurd drama. Maybe Edie will give us some good stuff like in the past. Or, what is the neighbor I love so much - Mrs. McClusky - it's time for her to get involved again.

Mrs McCluskey played by Kathryn Joosten is my favorite on the show. She was on The West Wing many years ago. Edie doesn't get a lot of lines, but maybe its her time now. Thanks for the reply.

I forgot - Justine Bateman -. It took me a few minutes to figure out who she was initially. I think the idea of them needing to rent a room financially is ridiculous as a story line actually. Personally, I would have had a better time watching more interaction between Carlos and Gabby.
