I love to work hard but i alos play as hard as i can,so i try to create a balance between the two,it has worked for me too,i have some friends who sing "thank God its friiiidddaaaayyyy"in as much as i have nothing against weekends,i still feel that sometimes we need to get somethings done.I was just wondering how many of us here on mylot also sing this song, are you one of them and is it because you hate work?

Now i like that,at least every work and no play makes jack a dull boy,i dont want you to be dull, work as hard as you can and play as hard as you can that is my motto,we need to get busy to get food on the table and meet our financial obligations

Before when i am still working..yeah i did! Not because i hated my work but just being happy atlast weekend will come sooner and get some relaxation. When i am still working...Friday was not a loaded day for me in work. Friday was just checking, finalized and filing. My work was in accounting so...i really done my work for the day. It's a pressured position so i really know how to put my work on proper and organize way to avoid any cram.

well,at least when you sing the song its not because you know its a good way for you to run away from your job,cos it seems you sure know how to organise your job back then as not to make it boring or too pressurising,do you still sing it now as things i suspect are different?

I used to say Thank God It Is Friday when I was younger but my husband and I both workk sven days per week right so all of the days are pretty much the same for us. When we do make ourself take a day off, then it is a Friday or a weekend to us. We always get other things done around the house though, so there is always work. I don't mind though.

I like to sing when I can! If there is a good song on the radio, or if I feel good and I hear a song that I want to sing, I will sing!

I am still a student. Thus I am not sure whether I will sing this song when I work. Now weekends is really not that attractive. I have to do some of my homework only on weekends, because I can only make it at that time. Even though I do long for those days during weekdays, week-end can be extremely busy for me. If I can just do nothing at week-ends, I will be really happy. This week-end, I have been struggling with my french presentation which sucks. I just don't want to do anything now.

this song happens to cut across every sector student or worker as long as the comingof friday signifies no work or a get away from so much work,so it really does not matter who one is ,i dont envy you though if your weekends are that busy i love free weekends but it doesnt mean i dont do anything i only do things from my leisure which i enjoy so much

I see. I guess it's culture difference then. I got what you mean. What I refer to "do nothing" is just like what you mentioned. This week-end, the presentation thing just drive me crazy. Tomorrow I will have to make the ppt then. Hope that the 3 days input get good output.

When I am on the computer, I will sing while listening to music at Yahoo Music. I enjoy it. I also sing when a song comes to my mind as well.

Yes, I am. I am expecting Friday comes soon in the whole week. And I remembered my teacher told us people in American always sing "thank God its Friday", and from then, I always told myself this sentence on Friday.

I also sing that song not because I hate my work, but because I look forward to the weekends. We all need to relax after a whole week's worth of backbreaking.
