Once a week dinner

In our family we have one day a week that is traditionally "Taco Tuesday." Every Tuesday I make tacos. Everyone knows the Tuesday is Taco Tuesday and since we all love Tacos everyone looks forward to it. This is also nice for me because tacos are easy to prepare and it is one night of the week where I don't have to think about what's for dinner or do anything special
I know other family's who do a Wednesday spaghetti night.
Do you have one night a week where you traditionally make the same food? If so what food or meal does your family enjoy on that day?

Hi ladym,
Back when I was younger and in high school me and my dad used to do...Pizza Saturdays! Oh gosh I liked that so much. I would get the ingredients for the dough and he would knead and prepare the dough and I would take care of topping it off and baking it. Yum yum. Good times.
In the beginnig of last year, we used to do Bar-B-Que Sundays. We would either do BBQ chicken or Steak and used to take a drink while Bar-B-Quing the meat (usually Cran-Apple juice and vodka with ice in there(my little invention
) But, we never ever drink to even get tipsy, it's just for the taste really.
Well, since I started working recently we don't get time to do anything like this anymore and to be honest it really makes me sad...now we don't do any little special treats to make for a certain day or night.

Homemade pizza sounds wonderful. My Dad about once a year would make fried pizza, I think he might of invented that himself but it was really good. Maybe you could get some premade pizza dough, or pizza shells and just top it and bake it yourself. That might be something special you can do that won't take so long.

What a coincidense. My wife makes taco's once a week too. It is always something to look forward to, since it is my favorite food. Have a wonderful day.

We don't have a certain day that we make certain foods on. Usually when my husband has a day off, its the day I make enchiladas. Thats my families favorite dish. For awhile my mom use to do that when I was a kid. But she did it for a short while. Sometimes it was nice to know what was for supper, that way if I didn't like it, I could eat a big lunch. lol
