What do you do with your pennies?
Do you know a valuable penny when you see one?
The 1943 US penny is worth 80,000 dollars at the moment.
For more information including history of the penny and valuable uses (copper is worth a lot these days):

Wow I definitely have to start looking at my pennies now. I have an almost brand new looking Morgan O Silver Dollar that MIGHT be worth a few hundred--it's from the late 1800s...wondering where I can sell some of my old coins..also have a few coins dating from the early 1800s

I may have to take a look at my pennies! I know I probably don't have one of the 1943 pennies, but it would be so great if I did. I could pay off pretty much all of my bills and still have money left over. Unfortunately, my luck isn't that good.

wow. $80,000 for a single penny, thats amazing. i have heard about people collecting very old coins. i forgot what the person is called, you know, the one who buys and collects the coins. my dad collects coins as well, but were not from the u.s.. maybe theres a coin collector here too... hehehehe... he even told me once that when he was a kid an american soldier gave him a fjk coin. i think its still around here somewhere... i might ask him about it one of these days

Doesn't seem all those 4 and 5 leaf clovers are doing me any good. Maybe since I plucked them that drained all the luck out of them. I found 8 5-leaf clovers and a few 4 leaf clovers and pulled them made wishes mostly for my mom and little sister and put them in the bible. But I guess next time I will just wish and leave then alone maybe I will get more luck that way. I wish everyone in the world would wake up today and find that something has went their way that a problem is solved, their heavy load lightened, and that they will have a easy stress free day, no worries.

That was very interesting. I tried to read all the uses for pennies, but there were way too many. My roommate seems to think that pennies are not U.S. currency at all. She gives them to me and I gladly accept them. They still add up if you ask me. I have around $10 worth of pennies. They come in handy when I have no change for the bus.

well I am in canada and we can't use pennies on the bus, we have to go directly to the bank to change them.

I was thinking the same thing, I might have had one and spent two, not thinking it was worth anything.

I do keep pennies. I check for wheat pennies, I've found quite a few. They are becomming harder and harder to find. I'm not really a coin collector, but I love looking thru coins in hopes of finding a valuable one. When my children were young, we'd get rolls of pennies from the bank to look thru. I have a book that list the current values.

I put all my pennies in a jar and then every so often count them all up and put them in the bank. I do not think any of the pennies I have are worth much more than the penny but I will certainly be keeping my eye out in case I come across any US ones, now that would be worth having!!
