She is on life support in the ICU but is not expected to make it through the night. If she does make it through, the doctors think she'll be a vegtable and be placed in a nursing home till she passes. Prayers have been known to move mountains, hopefully this one will be moved!
I'm at the hospital in the waiting room praying with all I have in between sobs. Please continue praying with me!

Please do not get mad at this question. But I have to ask what it is that you want us to pray for. I use to be a nurse to ederly people. Some people want their parent's suffering to end. Some people want their parents to make a full recovery, and some want for things to stay just the way that they are. I want to pray that God's will be done, whatever it is. What do you want me to pray about.

I understand how you feel. When my mom passed away when I was ten years old, it left me very confused. She loved the Lord with all her heart. I still don't understand it. I hope one day that it all make sense to me.
I just want to be in agreement with you for what you want to happen. Believe me, I know how painful these times can be. God bless you and keep you in his care.

Rozie hon, I'm not small minded so I don't get angry easily especially when one asks a ligitament question and you asked a really good one. (grin)
I'm praying that either my mom gets better or her suffering to end once and for all. In other words, I'd much rather have mom with us for she was so enjoying life once again and to be taken so suddenly just doesn't make sense. She was so vibrant and alive, not sitting in a rocking chair waiting to die but living life and really enjoying it. However, if that's not to be then please take her quickly and peacefully meaning, end her suffering. She does not deserve this. She's followed the Lord's word all her life and has gone to church every Sunday and asked God to forgive her when she didn't go so, she doesn't deserve to suffer like she is so if she's not meant to get well then to take her quickly and peacefully.

It's ok gabs sweetie. You have a life and it's share of problems too and I understand that. The fact that you took the time to respond means the world to me because it shows how much you care. Thanks so much hon!
Mom made it through the night but what is in store for her now remains to be seen. I do know they're going to put a trek in her neck to it'll be easier to clean out her lungs when they get congested again. Thanks again hon!

Oh I am so so sorry, I was really hoping that it would be good news, she seems to have deteriorated quite fast, my heart is really with you at this time. I of course will keep praying that your dear Mum will make it through and a miracle will happen for you. If anyone deserves it then you do, you have been through so much just lately. Take care and try to look after yourself xxx

I'm so sorry! Please let us know how everything works out. It's so hard but between being a vegetable and passing away, your mother would probably choose passing away. That doesn't make it any easier, in the sort term, though! I will say a prayer for you tonight, for your mom and for peace in you.

Hey my friend Im sorry to hear about your mom. I havent really been on mylot that much because Im getting ready to have surgery this Monday. So Ive been trying to get alot of things done around here. You most definitely have my prayers for your mother and yes for you too of course as this is not an easy time for you....I remember what I went through with my mother as she too was on life support. ((hugs)))...keep us posted how things go.

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I lost mine this past January and it happened too fast. She was fine all day and gone that night! Yes, prayers have been known to move mountains and I wish we had the time to say some for my Mom but I believe she's in a better place now although I hate hearing that and would much rather have her here on earth with me. I will send prayers to you and your Mom. Be strong for her and your family.

I remember when you lost your mom and felt a bit guilty for posting about mine. Please consider yourself hugged greatly!!
My husband's mother is expected to pass any day now. I feel so badly for him but yet happy to have mine. It's not fair and wish I could change that. So you can only imagine what I'm going through with this, an ugly roller coaster ride of emotions.

I send my prayers. I hate so much to read about sadness like this. It really breaks me. I don't know how I would feel if my mother was like this. I am very sorry. I will continue on keeping you in my thoughts, and I'm not just saying that. I have a big belief in praying. Prayers work, and God knows what he is doing. You have all my blessings and much love to you and your mother. I pray that things get better and not worse. If better means for her to no longer suffer, then let it be. All you can do is pray, love her and be there for her. She will know you are there. My prayers, blessings and love are with you.

So sorry to hear that. Just reading your post makes me feel sad and relive that kind of situation when we too, had our Dad on life support at the ICU. He suffered from stroke and heart attack. He was comatose for more than a week. His doctor said that prayers are all we can do to help him. We held devotional prayers for him everynight inside the ICU. We ask the nurses and doctors on duty to allow us to do our prayers inside his room at the ICU because we want him to be with us while we do our praying. He was out of the hospital after a month and continued to lived with us for another eight months before he passed away last March 2007. My prayers are with you and i hope that your Mom will get well soon and your family can pass this trial making you more stronger. God bless.

Thank you, Father for your love. Thank you for sending us your son so that we can be with you when it's time. Thank you for caring for and watching over this wonderful family and their mother. She has lived for her children and did the best she could for them as they grew into adulthood. Continue to hold her hand and if you need her to be with you soon bring the peace that only You can give to the family and help the grieving process not be so long.
