Who else thinks that Jason was just conceding last night? He did not really seem to be trying at all, it is like he either believes he is finished or he does not really want the pressure of being the American Idol. For me last night it was like he was raising his hand and volunteering to go home. It is a real shame because I like his voice and style, but he just seemed really defeated last night.

I think this was just a really long road for him and a lot of pressure at his age. I don't thing he conceded, but I'm sure he feels a little relief at the outcome. He admitted he was inexperienced, but he did a great job. Learning two songs per week is a lot and they also expect them to participate in videos and interviews, etc. so I wonder how much time they really have to practice. I liked him a lot and I'm sure he'll do well.

He should do well, he has a beautiful voice and a unique style. Plus he is cute. I'm sure it is a lot of pressure for a young person to handle. I remember Kelly saying that they practiced a lot but I am sure now that the show is so popular that they have to do more promotional stuff now.

I although think that he should be the final victor. Perhaps he just wants to depart peacefully.

I get that feeling from him when I watch him too. Like it doesn't matter what happens to him. He's going to look back at himself and wish that he did things differently.
