Is Martin Luther King a Hero?

I have been reading alot of books about him I know him with the tag "THE DREAMER",lol, do people regard him a Hero?

I would call him a hero and I would call Gandhi a hero also. Both of them were willing to stand up for what they believed in, knowing that the consequences for them were very dangerous. And both of them succeeded in helping to make the world a better place.

I do. If he were alive today, however, the man would weep. He'd be called an "Oreo," or an "Uncle Tom."
I still have my little 45 record I bought with my lunch money that has his "Dream" speech on it. I have always been guided by his stalwart, Conservative principles.
He was a true visionary, living in the Land of the Blind.
We could also use JFK, but he'd be pitched out of his party today, for being too conservative!
The far Left are always consistant about THESE things, at least....
