First of all, are you sure it's the timing belt? It's extremely difficult to put a new one on if you haven't done one before.
If it was the timing belt that broke, then I have some bad news for you. Most Honda engines that I know of have interference engines, that means that if they break, the pistons will hit the valves. So, chances are if it broke and you didn't shut if off immediately afterwards, the valves might be bent. I would take it to an engine shop and have them look at it to make sure. Perhaps it won't be that bad.
