Are you any kin to my son. lol?? I have always had dark black hair, and hubby had dark brown hair, well we are turning grey and white, unless Miss Clairol steps in to help me, but our son has a beard and mustache and when in the light it is almost red.. I have accused him of not belonging to me, and I couldn't be his mother because I don't know of anyone in the family who had natural red hair.. Oh well, he must be mine, I fed him for 26 years before he got married.. But it must really come from one of the ancestors.. It is odd, isn't it..
Have a great day, Donna

That happened to my brother too AGB although he is almost bald now and shaves his head hair he does have off - his moustache is red tinged too! lol I think it is something to do with melanin and the fact that the hair on your face doesn't hold colour as well as you get older - it is more likely to happen if you are dark haired to start with - I think it looks cool though! xxx

thats a real puzzle Grandpa Bob as you have black hair one
would think your mustache would turn gray not red. Maybe
Minnie is onto something. It might be all the red koolaid
you drank lol. really I suredo not have an answer. I
am still getting over the fact that my son is now
showing some gray in his beard. course he is almost fifty
another fact thats really crept up on me lately. could
'be I am getting old too.

I'm not sure. I have black hair also but I do not have a mustache, LOL, as I am a woman. I do have a couple of gray hairs that like to appear every so often though on my head. I also have some red tint on a few strands also. My husband has salt and pepper hair and his mustache is brown with a few grays. His original color of hair is brown though.

Hello Grandpa Bob. It is very interesting of your hair turning different colors. Mine is black and it is turning gray as well, but not red. I think that I would like it red if I could have that color of red to make me look more foreign to Chinese people. hahaha. Thank you.
