I think all countries have their versions of healthy and "unhealthy" dishes. Generally, countries where they eat the most unprocessed fruit and vegetable dishes tend to be healthier and closer to normal weight than countries that eat a lot of breaded, fatty, or sugary foods. In the United States, there are some healthy foods out there with lots of vegetables and fruit, but most Americans like the fatty, sugary foods instead, but we have more obesity and heart problems than we should.

I think we have the same healthy food were ever we live. But I also think the people working with healthy food have different opinion. I eat every third hour, and try to chose food that take long time for your body to take care of. I do not listen to all the ideas in the media. You should listen to your own body and give it what it need. At the same time I think it is god to enjoy even the stuff you should avoid.

I have always thought Oriental foods to be the healthiest. No specific country, just Oriental. More vegetables tend to be used than what we use here.
