I have been wanting to build a fish room in my garage but my pocket book does not allow it right now so I am going to build a fish stand to hold a 50 gallon breeder tank and three 20 gallon high tanks underneath small side out. In my work room right now is a 29 and a 20 high tank on a stand that I put together myself. Have you ever build a fish stand for other than a normal size? I have also build racks for central filtration systems that held over 33 20 gallon long tanks and one stand that I build held six 55 gallon tanks so I do have some experience.

We have a 55 gallon fish tank that sat for a long time on my desk...my desk is a big executive desk so it fit allright. We finally broke down a bought a stand for it to go on. Of course, we've had the tank for 8 years and are getting ready to sell it. I'm kinda burned out on fish. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

How can you be burned out because water put out fire and the aquarium Haas water in it. It could be that you just did not know some of the simple things that make keeping aquariums easy. Maybe you kept getting sick fish or could not keep those that you wanted. I have only been in the aquarium hobby for a little over 55 years and I am not burned out.

No I haven't done it, but did think about this idea. My brother found me a stand or we would have built one for my large tank. Its usually cheaper to build a stand, but we found one discounted so much that we couldn't afford to build.
