OK ladies you know what I'm talking about here so lets cut to the chase. So you have been married for a while, me 7 years. Been together 2 years prior to marriage. You know there is a training period. I think mine is about over but who knows right? Compare this to years, Mothers Day years ago roses, after that a fileadex, then you don't want to talk about it right? OK so this year on his very own, with no reminder from his family, and no one else shopping with him, I think he did it. Great job to my hubby, he actually got me something I really use and enjoy. What gifts have you gotten on any holdiay from your husband, how awful were they, how long did it take for him to learn, and do you think he is trained now?

Actually it is my hubby who gives me more gifts than me..I do not know how to train a hubby...It is the true love that makes them to gift and love.

I have been with my husband for 16 years now and married for 13 of those years. My husband is not trained at all. I have told him and tried to teach him many things over the years but he just lets it go in one ear and out the other. He says he forgets but I do not believe that at all. I think he has selective hearing and listening. He has bought me some nice gifts over the years but there has been alot of times he has bought me things that I never would have dreamed of buying for myself.

My husband is the one who gives me a lot of gifts. Little things really - a diary, a pen etc. I think he's making up for not being able to really know what I want. It still makes me happy though when he remembers special occassions. Never mind that I have now started a collection of pens and diaries. This time, for mother's day, he got me flowers and a new mobile phone with a 2GB SD card. I think it is his best gift so far.
