Yet Another Reason to NOT Vote McCain

Just as we are learning the truth about the whole Global Warming/CO2 Emissions scam, John McCain proves he would rather drink Kool-Aid than think for himself. He has decided that these scams should have a key place in his bid for the White House. BOO!!! McCain, we already know you are a RINO and no friend to the Republican Pary! Now you're just proving you bleed democrat blood and always have. What a waste of a candidate! With the 3 baffoons running this year, it might be time for a 3rd party candidate to pick up the slack!

..parts of my state used to be under glacier thousands of years ago, so I am suspecting global warming has occurred before.. I think 'global warming' is a cop out! A way of focusing on just a select number of our sins (anything politically unpopular) and ignoring the vast number of the rest..

that brings up a good point. if we listen to the eco freaks, I guess we should be working towards bringing the glaciers back. the "natural" state of the planet was when Pangea was the only continent.. i guess we should be bringing that back too. ;~D

Being British and therefore not directly concerned by your long winded politics, I'd still be interested in knowing who you think could come forward apart from Obama, Clinton and Mc Cain

sadly, we're probably going to be stuck with this set of less than bearable candidates. If the 3rd parties are ever going to be worth their salt, this is the year for one of them to take the lead.

ParaTed the Libertarian party is calling you. Come on ParaTed do yourself a favor and throw theat worthless Republican party to the crub. I know that it is not easy to do away with something that has been apart of your life for years, but it has become refreshing to be apart of a party that you can fully agree with. I know that you believe in personal freedom, personal responsiblity, lower taxes, and lower spending. The Libertarian party is calling you pick up the phone.

Oh, I can't fully agree with the LP, in fact, there are some gaping holes in the LP platform for me. The war in Iraq and Abortion would be two huge ones...but I'd have to balance that against other issues too. Sometimes I wish I was a single issue voter, life would be so much easier ;~D

Maybe if we get a third party candidate like Perot was, someone who has something to of value to say and gets people to listen, he'll pull enough votes from McCain like Perot did with Bush #1, that Obama can win, like Clinton did in '92. One can only hope.

What we hope is that there will be both a conservative and a liberal running as independents. That way both parties can see how much they have pissed off their base.

Fair enough on that one. This has turned out to be one of the most interesting races in my lifetime, thus far. It took getting pissed off finally to get people off their backsides and into the booths.

True so far as it goes, BUT, McCain is STILL more comservative than the other two, & I believe he'll allow conservative judges onto the Supreme Court -- unlike ANY Dems.... So I'm voting for him, AND I'm strarting to think maybe it IS time to start a NEW party --the Conservative Party. By the time McCain's first term's finished, we should be able to forget the GOP AND the Dems, & vote for real CONSERVATIVES! Maggiepie

McCain says he'll appoint constructionist judges, but let's look at his track record. He doesn't stand for anything except "reaching across the aisle". He never demands the other side reach back.. With his record, why would we assume he would stand up to a democrat controlled congress? Even in his latest speaches, all he talks about is how important it is to get along with them.

Yes, he says he'll appoint strict constructionist justices, but when has he EVER stood up to democrats on anything? If his past is any indicator, as long as the Dems run Congress, he'll name justices who will be acceptable to the dems.

I agree, but the one thing that gives me hope is how peeved we all are that we have to vote for this guy, & since he's on record (several times) saying he'll appoint strict constructionists, we can at least hold his feet to the fire on that. With the Dems, there is NO stopping them. Anyway, what choice do we have? I'm thinking revolution, y'all. Anyone agree? And if you =could= start a party (call it The Conservative Party), whom would you like to see run for President? I wish Phyllis Schlafley would go for it. That woman is brilliant. Maggiepie

Sen. Mccain is not a Conservative and not a Republican because anytime I hear a nominee of the Republican party talking about the biggest scam in world history global warming how in the hell am I going to vote for Sen. Mccain who believes this crap. Sen. Mccain is a Democract running as a Republican and he, will lose to a real Democract Sen. Obama in the general election. Obama is a clown.
