there are some discussion which i found already againts mylot guidelines as like put referral link within the discussion. what i see in here, its oftenly made (although its not always) by new members. so i just wondering, do you still drop your response in such kind discussion in order to remind the discussion maker remembering this person is still new in mylot, or you just leave it on? however, i also see that a discussion is quite good, unfortunatelly one of comment which dropped on there have referral link which means its already againts mylot rules. in this case, what you gonna do? please share with me in here, and in my own experience sometimes i still drop my response there although i know that my response have big possibility getting deleted cause the discussion deleted by mylot, but sometimes, i just leave it behind

I tend to just still put my response in anyway, sometimes they are not always deleted I do not think. I think that it should just be that one response that is deleted though, it seems a shame that a whole good discussion can be deleted because of just one person. I do not understand why people have to put their referral links in, all they have to do is say "visit my profile" and have a banner on there, a lot of people will still go and have a look if they think that it is interesting.

before i dropped my comment on it but when i found that all my post under this discussions was deleted i leave it behind and never post my comments. if no one will comment this will remind the poster that his/her post is against mylot guidelines. i will not gamble my post now unlike before. i will post my comments to discussions that didn't violate guidelines but sometimes i mistakes also to judge the post in my opinion it does not violate but still it was deleted. i am more careful now on posting. thanks for the post.

I usually just skip over the discussions that I know violate Mylot terms of service or guidelines. It is a waste of time to post anything in those because Mylot will delete it sooner or later. I hate to lose points and earnings for responding to those types of discussions. It is a waste of valuable time for me.

I usally will respond anyway because a lot get through and I think it also depends on what the link is for. The ones they are really hot on are the money making ones which I tend not to participate in anyway. Ellie :D

I don't respond to a discussion when it is just there to promote a link or if I think it goes against the guidelines. I suppose I ought to report it or give it a negative rating but I don't usually have time to bother. I prefer to spend my time reading, responding and rating in good discussions. I don't lose many posts from deleted discussions. It does still happen sometimes and it does not bother me. I can easily make up the number and the earnings I have lost.

If I know that a discussion might be deleted I usually avoid it. If it's posted by a friend and I find it interesting I might make a comment also.

If someone were to spam a discussion I started I would hit the ! and ask myLot to remove it even at risk of my discussion being removed, too, because it seems better to have that done right away than to wait and more friends reply and then have their work deleted too. However, on the one occasion that someone put blatantly inappropriate material in one I did start, the kind an efficient myLot staff removed the offensive comment without deleting the discussion or any of the other responses. That was a nice surprise, because I had seen instances where the whole discussion went under due to what seemed to be the wrongdoing of just one person. So maybe it is decided on a case-by-case basis.

In most of the cases, I do response and give some advice to him. It will be helpful to him/her from next time. If they are aware and did it, we can't make anything. But advising is good on our side. Cheers
