Can you ride a bicycle?
I no longer even try
but used to ride my bike to
LA Harbor everyday to my classes.
I don't think even then I
could have won any speed records.
I just found that a man named
Sam Whittingham holds the world
speed record for riding a bicycle at 81 mph.
That would scary the pants off me!

no I have never ridden a bicycle in my life, I never learned when I was young, my grandmother was too afraid that I would get killed on a bike, and just never felt the need when I grew up to learn how to use one. Well actually I tried but just couldn't balance the bike and I gave up fast.

Hi raydene! Wow, he is fast! I don't think I can ever ride a bike that fast. I am sure I am going to fall if that will be the case. haha.. I think I am much. much slower than 81mph but a lot faster than my walking. haha..

I'm not sure how fast I can ride a bike anymore. I do not ride a regular bike because it just does not feel right since I have grown a bit older. I do have an exercise bike that I ride when I get the chance though. I think it has speed on it also but I do not go very fast on it because the seat kills my rearend.

I used to love going out for long bike journeys Mom and I especially loved going at great speed though I don;t think I ever got anywhere near that speed! Unfortunately I have no chance of getting on a bike these days but I love watching Niamh fly about on hers - her and Daddy go out for long bike rides - it is so hard to believe it is only a year since she managed to ride her bike with no stabilisers - she looks as though she has been doing it her whole life! xxx

I cannot ride a bike..at all. xD
I biked, rollerbladed, skateboarded and scootered all the time when I was a kid, then when I was about 11, I went through a mojorly accident-prone phase. I still have scars from then, lol. Since then the only thing I can ride is scooters. I think its easiest to keep balance on them.

Good Grief 81 mph, can you just imagine the lip stand he'd do if he hit loose gravel and flipped the bike. That's nuts. I've rode a bike lots as a kid and even as a young adult but my health won't allow it anymore. I did enjoy riding my bike for as long as I could and in fact I still have the silly thing. It's a plain jane one of course we didn't have all the bells and whistles when that one was bought.
