New members who are very active!

I have just checked my list of friends and their profiles. I also have gone over the profiles of those who are not in my list but respond to my discussions as well as the profiles of those whose discussions I respond to. There is one thing that I have noticed. I have observed that most of the new members (at least 2 weeks old here at myLot) have more posts than I do. Wow! They must really have that much time to spare for their myLot activities. I envy them. I hope I had that much time to spare too. Congratulations to the new members of myLot who are really doing great here! I hope to learn more from you.

I'm a new member here, and although I have a ways to go before I reach your amount of posts, I've had several people comment of on the amount of posts I have already(I'm still in my first month), so I'm assuming most people don't have this many. I seem to do rather well here, mainly because I have a flexible schedule with my job, meaning that I don't have to be working every second. I sort of break it up, and Mylot is a way of doing that. I work for about an hour, answer a few questions, go back to work, and so on. It allows me to focus more, both on what I am doing and to pick discussions that I want to answer as opposed to just trying to reach a payout amount.

Im already a year old here on mylot and I can say that I dont have that much posts here like the new ones who have posted so much already. I am one of those who have starganted on a particular level of posting and I just hope I wont just end there for there are still potential topics to talk about and there are still lots of things to share here but the problem is that I dont have the freedom of time to enjoy here. There is so much work and so much deadlines to meet but at least mylot is here when we just kill the time reading the posts and the opinions of mylotters.

I agree with you. There are a lot of potential topics to be discussed and posted. Unfortunately, there is not much time...

I have notcied that alot of new members are very active also. I have added quite a few friends lately. I have alot of friends in my friend list and alot of them are not active anymore. It is nice to see that when we add a new friend they really like it here and they will participate with us. I try to be as active as possible also.

Well, you do not really have to worry about your speed now. I think what is important is that you are actively participating in discussions. It's nice that you are enjoying it here!

Hi MOMMASAM - You are now on my friends list...and I am on yours. When you get the hang of things, you should try starting some discussions. I've looked at your website. Very nice!...

I really wonder what he/she posts. Mmm... Could it be a script? I heard somewhere that there are script poster for forum. This is just my guess. I think, if it's really human that made that much of posts within 2 weeks, there must be less useful info in that post or the quality of the post is very low. This is just my guess too. But, if the posts are all with good or at least average quality, then I salute him/her.

Wow. Those people aren't wasting any time at all with their posting. I'm fairly new here but not that new. I only have about 250 posts so far. I don't have that much time to put into mylot. If I did that would be great. They're doing well and a lot of times I see new users that don't really have many posts like I did when I first joined. Everyone is doing great if they are trying.

I admit my posting will go down quite a bit in a few weeks/months. Now is my slow season at work, until about the beginning of August. Then we start getting Christmas items in(I work as a buyer at at major dept. store). As soon as the first Christmas items roll in the door, I don't get a break until February, so I spend most of my time the rest of the year relaxing and preparing.

I have just Joined MyLot not too ago (3 days) and for new members to reach post upto that high is really outstanding. I just hoped that they wouldn't get carried away and not bother about world around them ie, families, friends and all that. And it still isn't that worth it to force yourself to do beyond of wat you really can take.

Hi Dolce, It is actually a fairly common trend. And it is quite an understandable one. New members are generally more hyped up. I mean, who isn't interested in things that are new? But as time moves along, they tend to slow down a bit though there is still a fair number of "senior" members who still post actively and consistently. Cheers!

some of us are older retired people who do have a lot oftime on our hands, and mylot is a wonderful place to find friendship and share and care and also make a little extra money at the same time. I am very active here and proud of it.

During my two months of active mylotting the last few weeks I have come to realise that some members younger than myself have really busy. I say to the as well but cannot leave out the older mylotters. The fact that so many new members are joining mylot and doing so well is evidence that the older members have been maintaining a certain atmosphere here on mylot which the new members find attractive. Happy mylotting everyone and let us keep up the good work. (lol)

I'm a new comer in mylot. I worked very hard to respond to discussions I was interested with. till now,I have joined here more than a month. I feel I was really active in the past time. but,I still can't hit 100 posts. I'm frustrated too much and totally defeated. now,I seldom respond to others.
