One little blessing...

Do you feel yourself coasting downhill, accelerating with no brakes? Does a dark thundercloud seem to hover over you wherever you go? In such a situation--and we all have them from time to time--one positive event, one blessing, no matter how insignificant, can be the start of a turn-around. It can make all the difference. Do you watch for it? Do you even notice it?

I always watch for it, and usualy notice and appreciate it. I have a saying that when times are bad and bad things are happening if we look for the good we will see it. Good does come from bad, we often just have to watch for it to see. and you are right when we see it, all seems to be better again :)

Hi dolce_vita! As you may know now by this time that I have been having so much tough times lately and until now but every morning when I wake up, I try to shake myself up and just try to think of all the good things that life has to offer. I try really hard and pray very hard to keep my spirit up. It is hard but with knowing that God will make a way for me, I am somehow at peace now. Just this morning, my mother in law gave us some fresh shrimps to cook. It is this little kindness that made me smile now. Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!

I used to feel like that alot. I work very hard each day to try to keep our head above water though. I used to feel like everything that I did, was just a waste of time because it seemed like we was just not going anywhere. We recently starting to climb that steep hill and get somewhere but it alot of work. Every day that God helps us pay our bills and put food on the table, is a pure blessing.

To be completely honest. I take a shower, put on my nightgown, go to bed and watch tv and sleep until it passes. Then I get up and start over again.
