She Kicks Me While Im Down!

And well I love it...........She is the life inside of my belly. I am about 20 weeks halfway there yippeee. I have been feeling the little body moving around for some time now but its getting easier to feel now as shes getting bigger. And yes I say she but im not 100% just a feeling. This little bugger always decided to start getting restless the second I try and relax. I sit to do some Mylotting and she gives me a kick ot two I think she wants me to talk about her. And when I go to bed without a doubt she decides to wake up. So anyone else have or had this issue? Did or does your baby kick you when you are down lol? And well if you are a man or not a mom did you do this to your mom when you were in the womb?

wow! Amazing, I always look forward to experience that feeling. I know it's wonderful to feel that you are bringing life with you and maybe she wants you to sing for her!LOL! I remember my friend who use to read books to her baby when she was still pregnant!

It is a lovely feeling though to have those little feet kicking away inside!! I remember it well, with my boys it was worse, they all seemed to always catch me under the ribs and it could really hurt at times. At night time they all decided it was playtime, as soon as I would get into bed off we went, kick, kick, kick!!

It can be lovely but yeah when you get further along it sure can hurt. My youngest (soon middle child) he almost broke my ribs he was a restless guy.

There are always normal feelings when women are pregnant. For each woman who is pregnant, the baby inside moves around and sometimes kick. I understand these things are annoying. But women should relax and take it real easy. They should eat more healthy stuff. They must never drink or smoke at all.

It's been a while, because my son is 16 now, but I remember trying to lay down and go to sleep and he would decide that's when he wanted to play around. Plus, he dropped early and was kicking my bladder all the time! That was really fun..lol.

When my daughter was six months old, I took her to her first parade. She bounced and bounced and kicked one foot. And you know, I recognized those movements. They were exactly what she did inside my womb. My tall son stretched out, head on my belly button, and walked up and down my spine.

I have had 3 children and with out fail all of them have done this. I don't know what makes them decide to move around while you are resting but I did find a way to sleep better at night. When you lay down try getting on your side and putting a pillow like a body pillow as much under your stomach as possible. Try it and let me know if it works for you it did for me.

I miss the feeling of a baby kicking inside of me it is the best feeling in the world. The baby kicking was the best part of being pregnant! Somtimes it would feel like they were doing gymnastics in there. My daugter go the hiccups alot when I was pregnant with her that is so neat to see your somace go up just a little tiny bit for a little tiny hiccup!

I think that is what I missed the most after giving birth. It's such an undescribable feeling being kicked from the inside out! You are not alone! I think they all decide to kick you when you settle down. Sometimes I'd sit for a while trying to feel the kick, but they'd always do it when I wanted to sleep. Enjoy this time, they will be big in the blink of an eye. Best wishes to you and your baby.

Ohmy, yes. My 'babies' are almost 24 and 27 now, but I remember that feeling like it was yesterday. The pressure of them pushing against my tummy with knees and elbows, trying to make more room. Has your baby had the hiccups yet? THAT was neat!

Congratulations minnie! I'm so happy for you. It is truly amazing when you know that a new life is growing inside of you. That's what I felt when I got pregnant. And yes, he was kicking me all the time. Not only when I'm down but also when I'm in a difficult position. Lol (was working until I was 8 mos. pregnant). But it was great when he did that. It was all I longed for. It made me more aware of him and felt like he was interacting with me. I wouldn't know if I did this to my mom though.

Hi there! Congrats on your pregnancy, first off. I'm almost 20 weeks pregnant as well. But I have yet to feel the little kicks. =[ It makes me jealous hearing your plight, as bad as that sounds. I'd do anything for a little kick! But I'm sure once my little one starts kicking, I'll be as uncomfortable as you sound! Do you have any names picked out yet?

Thank you. Well this is my third kid so I know what im looking for after a few kids you can feel it sooner. Its really not to bad yet as it doesnt hurt but soon it will. Congrats to you as well. Girl will be named savanna Boy will be named Aidan You got names picked yet?

I like Ava that was my second choice for a girl but I just like savanna too much. As for my boys I knew I was having boys so each time I had a name picked and started calling them by name instead of baby so when they were born the name was set in stone already. I never felt the name didnt fit. I think after 9 months of carring them around you can tell if a name will fit.

I have a couple girl names picked out but nothing for a boy yet. My woman's intuition is telling me it's a girl, but who knows. I like the name Ava (middle name would be Rose, after my Mama's middle name). But I've find of grown fond of the name Fallon as well but that's a lot less likely than Ava right about now. When you had your other children and saw them for the first time, did the names you picked for them suit them? My ex-coworker was telling me that she had a name picked out for her son, but when he was born he didn't look like someone with that particular name should. She just looked at him and picked a new name for him on the spot, lol!

My kids did that some when I was pregnant. My middle daughter did something a bit more, so to speak. I love Long John Silvers and the closest one to us is in the same town the hospital was in, about a 30 to 45 minute drive from us. The month she was due I would have false labor at least once a week, which meant once a week going to Gainseville. After going to the doctors and them telling me it was false labor, my mom and I would stop at Long John Silvers for lunch. Yes, it was always around lunch time. After about the third visit I told my mom that if we would just come on in once a week to eat I wouldn't have false labors because the baby apparently loves the food. We didn't try it out, but still got to eat once a week there until I delivered. lol She is now ten years old and loves their food still. lol

Well, I am a grandmother now but yes, my children always wanted to wake up when I wanted to rest and relax and then when I was ready to move around they wanted to sleep. so I guess they were paying me back for moving when they wanted to rest. LOL It is such a blessing and so awesome to feel life moving around inside of you. It is a memory you will always cherish. Congrats and keep us posted.

LOL, my little guy loves to kick me whenever I am down. The theory behind it is that when you are up and moving around the baby is being swayed and rocked to sleep, but once you stop, they are wide awake and ready to move themselves.

Hi minni_98214! Oh, I am so happy to hear that! I do think you are going to have a lovely and healthy child. How I wish, I have experience such blessing. I was not able to get pregnant even though we did everything we can but I have already accepted my fate. I am always happy for people who are blessed with children and I am always glad that it happens to most of the good people I know. Oh, by the way I don't remember kicking my mom when I was in her womb but she told me that I could have done well in "kickboxing"! haha..But that one I disagree because I am really clumsy. haha.. Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!

Hi minnie! You're such a good person and so kind. You don't have to tell me the pains dear, I know that even how painful pregnancy can get, seeing your baby for the first time will wipe all those pain one experience during pregnancy. Thanks for being kind my friend. God bless your kind and sensitive heart. Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!

Yes, my daughter always used to kick me in bed or when I was relaxing. I don't know if part of it is that you notice the movement more when you are relaxed and not doing other things. But I'm sure that the main reason is that when you're walking around the baby is getting nicely rocked and this encourages her to sleep. When you're sitting still or laying down she's not being soothed in this way, so that's when she wakes up and parties! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. It's such an amazing feeling isn't it?

They thought it was hilarouse but regardless she would alwaays mwake up on her own. Thats why they are up so much in the night when they come out because they have there days and nights mixed up. Thank you. I was lucky so far my boys both slept thru the night at an early age. Nut I beleive in letting them cry for a little before jumping to there aid and I feel that helped as they usually will fall back to sleep after a few minutes of crying. Of course first few months they need the feedings so I didnt let them cry then.
