Do you check myLotters' profile before adding them as friend?

I already received many friend requests here in myLot and so far, I have approved all of them. But before I add them, I make sure that they are good people by reading their discussion, responses and their profile. I'm just being careful...
How about you? Do you make actions to know a myLotter more before approving their friend request?

I usually do check the profile before approving a friend. I want to make sure they are actually going to participate in myLot, not just spam me with referral links. If they have a low response count and only make discussions about their "money making opportunities" then I decline them.

So far in my experience, I haven't declined someones request for being added as a friends here in myLot. I have known them through their discussions and nobody from my friends is doing nasty things with me here so far.

I think I have to follow your procedure in accepting friends request. I am new here, so every request I get, I accept immediately to have more friends. But some are fake. Do you think it will not be rude to delete some of them?

It is for our own good to be careful in adding friends. There's no problem in deleting a friend if you have a reasonable statement for that. Anyway, you can just let the friends you have added and just delete someone when he/she begins doing nasty thing in this site.

Yes, though I didn't used to. When I first joined here, I didn't hardly check anyone's profiles and most the of the requests were people that I knew from other discussions. But, I check now because a few people that requested to be my friend were people who wrote horrible discussions about hurting people in my country or other hate posts. So, since then, I check everyone's profile. I like to accept people who have made more than a few posts and started at least one or two discussions. But, I consider each person on a case by case basis, mostly.

I generally always do. I'm sure there have been times I haven't checked but usually I make sure to look at what they have written a bit and what type of questions they have. If they look like all they ever write about is their get quick rich schemes I just say NO THANKS!

I have hardly check the profile of those who requested to be friends. However, I'd check the profiles of those I wished to add as friends.
Many of those I added did not respond to my discussions. It does not matter to me at all. They would still be my cyberfriends.

Same as mine I have friends and they usually don't respond to my discussions. It's not a requirement anyway. Having them as friends doesn't mean that they should always respond to your discussion. They also have their own interests here in myLot and they are free to choose which discussion to respond to.

Many of my friends have added me from the time I responded through their discussion also. In other times, I make a friend request if I have something for someone and that someone will help me also. It is also their profile that I visit before adding them as my friend here in myLot.

I always check very carefully, look at the profile and the discussions started and responded to. I used to approve anyone until someone tried to bombard me with their get rich quick site, so now I check them out first
