Gsses and Glass cases

I wear glasses all day long. I have bifocals so I can see up close for reading etc. I need new ones as I can't wear them at the computer lately as it's too blurry. But I can read a paper/book etc with them on. Now I get those free cases each time I get new glasses. How many people actually use them to store their glasses in? I've had a case or more since I can recall wearing glasses and seldom use them to dstore my glasses in at night. Especially with the new scratchproof lenses. But after clearing my desk I found this case dusty as heck and decided to use it at the desk only. Do you or don't you?

i honestly have no idea where my glass case is.
i'm probably going to have to make one.i've always been really bad about putting them away.needless to say i'm going to have to bring them in to have the scratches polished out.

Yes, I know what you mean about collecting eye glass cases. Though I do have to admit that I do use one, though only when I am switching from my regular bifocal glasses to my prescription sunglasses and then visa versa. I'm in need of getting my prescription renewed as well.

I think when I get new glasses I'll use the case more often.
At least to give this old mind a workput eac night etc.

I've been coveting one of those fur lined stand up cases.. I'm going to break down and buy one one of these days.. Though our little house is so crowded with stuff I often don't buy something just because who knows where the heck I could put it? Too many books around here I guess.. If I'm not wearing my reading glasses or sleeping, they're usually on top of my head. My family used to get a real kick out of me, when I first started doing this, when I'd mutter where the @#%& are my glasses, and there they'd be on top of my head.

I have a different kind of case that I bought. I use it to put my sunglasses in, and when I take them out, I put my glasses in it. It has kind of a spring top, and it is a fabric lined vinyl pouch. I do not seem to use the ones tha come with my glasses.

I have a case for my clip on sunglasses in my car that always get used. You'd think I'd know to use the one in the house as well. But no!

My car has a glasses place on the ceiling that I put my clear or night glasses, I shove the sunglasses in under the cd player and I have a pair of reading glasses in the sunglasses case. I do have a "hard shell" reading glasses slimline case that I have the glasses in that I carry around in my beaded cell phone pouch that I carry my iphone in as well. In the pouch I have my phone, the glasses, a little calander and a pen or 3. Everything else is shoved in pockets.

I use them to store my old ones in, you know, just in case the new ones get broke.. I think you have to be almost blind to keep a stash of your old glasses, just in case, but I do keep them for just such emergencies.. I have worn glasses since about the fifth grade and can't see much without them.. I have to use my bifocals for the computer and end up with a stiff neck using them for long.. I can't get used to them, (I am a fairly new biffocaler??) and usually crane my neck to be able to see the computer screen with them on, one day I will get used to them.. Have a great evening

I think I have a couple old glass cases with some
old glasses in them as well. Go figure that one out.

I have never used the cases, of all the people I have known in my life who wear glasses I think that only my mother actually uses the cases.

Hey GPB! When I first got my eyeglasses I used the case all the time. Now I dont. I dont even have a case now.LOL But I think its a good idea because it does prevent them from getting scratched up.

Never--- I can't even remember where my glass case is. I also need new glasses- I'm thinking of setting up the appointment for next week and getting my eye exam and then new glasses. It's been a bit since I got my last pair.
I too get the scratch-free glasses--- I just set them aside at night when it's time for bed- Sometimes the cat knocks them to the floor off the nightstand-- I should use the glass case.

I only use the soft cases and only for my glasses in the car. I have prescription sunglasses that I keep in the case in the door of my car for whenever I'm driving. That's the only time I use a case. Whenever I get new glasses, I usually pass on the free case since I have no use for them. One lasts me for years.

I only usually put my glasses in the case if I am travelling or have them off for a while which isn't very often! lol I have prescription sunglasses too which i do tend to keep in the case as well I do live in Scotland after all and don't need them that often! ,lol xxx

i wear glasses all the time as well so i dont need to use the case, even when i go to sleep. i just put it on top of the table. i lost a few glasses before and i just store the cases in the drawer for safe keeping. hehehe
