There are so many of God's promises that there is a book that lists them. "All the Promises of the Bible" A couple of my favorites are: You will pray to me and I will listen to you (Jer. 29:12) I know the plans I have for you" (Jer. 29:11) "And you shall seek me and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart." (Jer. 29:13) There are a couple of sayings that Jesus made: "I go to prepare a place for you." (John 14:3) "I will not leave you comfortless." (John 14:18).

I am not a Christian and i dont know much about it.I think there is only one God and that God has no religion. He or she is omnipresent. There is some mysterious force controlling all our day to day activities and we can call this power or force as God.

That's a good one and could even be considered as covering all the promises in the Bible. We do need to have full faith and trust in the LOrd and not have reservations.

Its one thing to make a Promise and quite another to keep it! The bible was written by people with the education of a second-grade student. It was passed from generation to generation for some 200 years before it was written. After it was written, the Christian Church translated and retranslated it, some 275 times to justify the Teachings of said Church. Some swear that the bible is the Holy Word of God! Those people have a vested interest in Religion, for the Power and Money that it brings. "If you wish to be a success in the world, Promise Everything, Deliver Nothing." -Napoleon
