Today is Visit Your Relatives Day

Visit Your Relatives Day encourages us to visit our relatives and loved ones. This day is intended to give us the opportunity to get closer to our relatives, and to build (or re-build) family ties and relationships.
It's easy to get out of touch with loved ones. We lead busy lives. A visit with the relative, is sometimes relegated to Christmas and a few other choice major holidays.
If you can not visit your relatives today, we suggest you call them and/or send them a card. Both snail mail and online cards will do.
Important Note: If you don't get to visit your mother-in-law today, you will have another chance on Mother-In-Law Day.
Are you planning to see any relatives today? Sadly, we are not.

No, we are not visiting relatives today as well because we visited them last month already. 
Atleast we get to visit them in summer. I miss them so much especially my little cousins.

Thanks for responding.
We have a family reunion coming up at the end of June. It is over 600 miles away, I really don't want to go because of the price of gas, plus DH likes to make it a quick trip. The quick trips like this are hard on the kids, in my opinion. So he might go with his one or two of his brothers.

I don't plan to visit any of my relatives today either. I have worked all night long and it will be time for bed soon after we eat our supper. We may go out and get some things done in the yard today but I am not really sure yet because it is supposed to rain. My husband and I both work seven days per week right now. Gas is too high to go visit relatives also.

My brother lives 86 miles away so we don't get to see them as much as we would like to.
I have a BIL and his family two miles away and I really only see them for birthdays, at the pool in the summer, and then I do see 2 f the 3 kids every day at school. They are kinda of the blacksheep of the family thanks to some of the things my BIL has done in the past.

Well I didn't know that May 18th was visit your relatives day, I didn't visit any relatives but they came and visited me yesterday. My sister and her boys came over, and my cousin and her boyfriend came over, I haven't seen her in awhile, I was pleasantly surprised. Of course, I don't think they knew it was visit your relatives day, they were just delivering my b-day presents..lol. My b-day was earlier in the week...thats wierd how things turn out...haha.
