I am doing a wedding for a wealthy family in our area. We had orginally talked about renting arches, screens, arrangements and tuelle for this wedding and I quoted a price for all of that. When I went to look at the premises, she specified where she wanted all of the tuelle. I will need over 100 yards of tuelle to do what she wants and will have to purchase 50 more yards of that I have never had a wedding with more than 50 yards of tuelle. I always charge $25 rental for renting and placing 50 yards of tuelle. Would it be tacky of my to say that her rental is twice that of a normal wedding and that I must charge her twice the price?PLEASE be honest here. THere will be NO negatives given...I assure you! I just need to know what you would think of this if it were you.

Hi Sweets You must charge for what is being done or you will not be in business very long. I'm sure they will understand and next time I would look at the premises prior to giving a estimate. xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

I would charge her whatever you feel is the right price for yourself since it is more than usual. It is not like they do not have the funds for it anyway. Once you start doing things to cut corners for people, they will always expect it from you. I would charge now and in the future for other weddings. It has to be worth your while also.
