Where were Mylie Cyrus' parents when she was being photographed nude?

Today I just heard about that really unfortunate incident where that magazine photographed Mylie Cyrus wrapped in a bed sheet, with no clothes on. And, lots of people are mad at Mylie. But, I think they may be mad at the wrong person. She is just a kid after all. She got coerced into doing it. They should be more mad at her parents (for not being there to stop it) or the magazine that coerced a teenager into taking nearly nude photographs. Where were Mylie Cyrus' parents when all this was going on? If they'd been on the set, I'm sure they would have stopped the situation before it got too far. In my opinion, I think the magazine tricked Mylie into doing a racy photo shoot. She didn't realize how exposed she would appear. She said later, that she thought it would be very tasteful and artsy. And, now she's very embarrassed over the entire situation. And, the magazine in raking in millions over the photos at her expense. If I were her parents or guardians, I'd be more embarrassed that I wasn't there with her to keep those adults from tricking her into a risky situation that could put her career in jeapordy. There should have been someone with her to look after her best interest. And, apparently, there wasn't. What do you think? Who was responsible for making sure something like that didn't happen? Mylie Cyrus? Her parents? Agent? Or, the magazine that coerced a teen into taking nearly nude photographs for their benefit? What's your opinion on this?

I feel like it is the magazine is responsible they tricked Mylie and before she knew what was going on they published her picture that way. If I was her parent I would be very upset.

Actually, the parents were there and had liked the photo at first. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/741931/miley_cyrus_hannah_montana_another.html

Her parents were involved. She was even photographed with her father, in a pose that brought some bad reviews. From what I've read, they were trying to make the transition from her being a child to an adult. But, it backfired on them as people thought the photos were unappropriate. I guess it is hard for child stars to be stars as adults.

Her parents were there. They also had to give consent before these photos were published so for people to be blaming the magazine is just absurd. Everyone knew what was going on as it was happening. Her parents were both on scene when these pictures were being taken and could have stopped it whenever they felt the need to step in. Apparently they never objected to the photos.

Her parents were there, her agent was there, Disney was there....they all approved the digital photos on the spot. There really was nothing wrong with the photos unless you are shocked that she has shoulders or a back because that's all the skin they showed. If I had to be judgemental my only objection to the photo would be that it made her look to be around 12 years old. I agree that it was not a good decision, but I think that people are making too much of the whole thing. We have been scared off by the Brittanys and Lindsays and Paris Hiltons of the industry lately. I am not a big Miley Cyrus fan, but she doesn't seem to be headed down the same path as the party girls in the news lately. At least not yet.

I think that Mylie was still responsible for this because she still pushed through with the photoshoot even if she was aware what poses she was going to do. She still accepted the offer. She could have just refused it. After all, she is considered a role model for YOUNG kids out there.

Her dad was on the set also. He is in some of the pictures. I think the magazine took advantage of them.

I think the magazine is at fault first of all for being so slimy. Then, her parents, then her agent, and of course, for being swayed she does need to accept some blame, she put herself in that position and let it go to her head. I am the most bothered by the magazine and the parents, though.

To be fair, the parents approved the photographs and they were there while the pictures were taken. The real culprits are the people who buy the magazines knowing that they contain purient photographs.

Her parents were there and liked the photos. I have a daughter who is almost 13 years old and just can't see me agreeing to the shoot. Though I don't think they are super bad, I mean considering so many vag pics of celebrities out there. I think that the image of miley we had and wanted to keep is not there. My daughter's friends and her don't like her anymore because they think she is turning into a "bad word" like britney
