Typhoon! Storm!

We have just been hit by one and power was just restored late last night. Unfortunately, no internet connections at home yet. According to the service provider, restoration will take at least 24 hours from 8 am today. I do hope that they will be able to restore it very soon. Anyway, it's been a lonely weekend as there was no other form of entertainment except my Nintendo DS Lite which was fully charged before the power was shut off. My PSP did not last that long though. Well, I am so sad about what happened as some nearby provinces was already placed under state of calamity. Thousands of residents were evacuated and several power posts were toppled in Northern and Central Luzon as tropical storm Cosme battered the country. Many houses were destroyed by strong winds and the typhoon brought a heavy downpour in several areas. Many infrastructures were damaged and power posts were knocked down. Several passengers were also stranded in some places as some national and provincial roads were rendered impassable due to fallen trees.
