Unresolved discussions

I am trying to clear my unresolved discussions. I had like 13 pages of them. I am down to 3. My question is: how do you clear a discussion that has no responses? Just hope someone comes along and responds appropriately so you can give them best response or just let them fester for all eternity?

I have two with no responses. I guess I'll just let them sit and see what happens. lol

I know that I have some unresolved discussions too. I need to go through those and close them out soon. I hardly ever think about doing it because I hardly ever start a discussion and I am always so busy responding to my friends discussions, I work with alot of sites daily also so it is hard to make the time for it sometimes too.

I usually just let them sit, although I've only really had one or two this way over the past couple of years. I saw somebody else made a remark on their own non-replied to discussion so that it was brought back up and not buried deep within the 'discussions with no responses' pile. I thought that was a clever idea as it actually did bring in a few responses. Maybe that tactic is worth a try?!

I've seen people beg others to respond to their discussions without responses so they can resolve them. They post links to the unresolved discussions.

I was just doing the same thing, but I have pages and pages of unresolved discussions and some of them have so many replies that I don't have the energy to read through them all. I know its the polite and kind thing to do, but when you are looking at reading 99 responses, whew its really a daunting task. I cleared a few, but I have many, many, many more to go.

IF there is no reponse, how can you close it? I have been working to keep up on resolving mine too - Usually I just take a few hours and do nothing but that. But I have a few with no responses and just left them open. I didn't see a way to close them, plus, why close them? I have seen lately a big flush of responses to my older discussions, so might as well leave them open, maybe someone will want to comment albeit some day!
