Are rights killing us?
Or lack of them?
We can not disciple our own kids!
But it's our fault when they beat
the helI outta someone!
We have the right to over eat until
we have a heart attack...
We have the right to smoke ciggs which
kill people everyday but not use hemp
which is actually a medicine...
We have the right to drink ourselves
into a stupper every day....
We can not get drugs to treat cancer
without leaving the country even though
we are dying! But
our docs can hand out all kinds of legal
killing meds...
It scares me to think of what USA
will be in another 20 years!
We are righting ourselves weeker everyday
and not standing up for what could help us be
a strong country...
We get so side tracked screaming about
our rights in a trivial matter that
the big things are sliding by us un-noticed!
I dare you to look around you today
and tell me you truely believe that
our country is stronger today then
during your parents/grandparents time!
What has happened to a hard days work being rewarded?
Respect has become a word in the dictionary
but not to be applied!
It's hard to pledge to a flag you
are not sure you want flying in front of your house!
I sure don't have an answer...
I am at a loss...
I have no solution...
So each day I touch what is in arm's reach
trying to treat others with respect
I vote in every election
I vollenteer when I can
I give a kind word,touch,hug
as often as I can
I do not break the law...
I still believe that you don't change
a stupid law by breaking it..there are better ways!
peaceful ways!
Ok the rant is over..
it's your turn..go for it!

Hi Raydene I hope you feel better now you have got all that out!
I am from what is known as Great Britain and all off the above is happening here too as I tend not to think it is so great anymore but saying that it is my home and I for one wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Visit yes but not to permantly live.

I own a Hemp Store..the kind thats legal not MJ.So I know what you mean, but sometimes you have to do things to bring it to the attention of the news/tv. If not then nothing would ever change..whether you believe in the law right or not.I have done rallys and protested..some were peaceful, some not.
I hear everday "I wish they would just make it legal" My response is.."who is they?" This always leads to an explanation of We are the ones that need to make a change..it won't just happen by sitting by and waiting.
This can be for anything so Rant and scream..This is good..it brings people here to give there opinions!!!

You're not alone in your rant. The situation is the same in other countries, too. The rights of the individual seem to overide the rights of the many.
