Okay well Saturday my parents bout a pack of Cracker Jacks for my son to bring as a snack for baseball. They sat on the fridge just waiting till the day he brings treats. Well they were calling to me everyday and finally i couldnt resist. I had to have me one of these. And well you know where that will lead lol. You can never just steal one can ya. So anyone else steal their kids snacks? Or mabey you bought a girf for someone only to keep it for yourself?

Well my daughter is old enough yet for me to steal her snacks... But when the time comes I'm sure I will. I used to eat the snacks I gave this boy who I was a nanny for... He'd offer to share with me and I'd eat them. Sometimes it was the only way to get him to eat his snacks. Plus, I didn't really get to eat until the mom ate lunch (sometimes never) while I was his Nanny. I have kept a gift before. I've bought a gift and liked it so much and went and got another one that was little different and kept the first one for myself. Or at my baby shower, my cousin left the door prize she won (some bubble bath and stuff) so I took it. LOL I'm mean!

LOL I am good in that way - they are more likely to steal my snacks! Glad you are blaming the baby though - AGB will probably go buy you more if he thinks his granddaughter likes them! lol xxx

Back when the kids were little and Halloween came around I had a hard time not stealing some of their treats....like the candy bars! Now they would know immediately that something was missing. I think they must have counted them! LOL

I bought a box of fiddle faddle the other week for hubby cause I saw it and he likes it.. but I kept forgetting to give it to him, so finally I ate some.. forgot to give him the rest, then ate more and then I was embarassed to give it to him as I'd ate so much of it! So I polished it off and buried the empty in the trash..

I steal my hubby's snacks sometime. He knows better than to leave anything especially chocolate alone with me all day. It'll be just about gone by the time he gets back and then I will yell at him for wrecking my diet, lol.

I have done this before also. I have bought someone something and ended up eating it or keeping it for myself. I hate it when I do that but I hardly ever get treats or nice things for myself and it is hard to resist not having things sometimes. I feel bad afterwards but I need things sometimes too and I just cannot resist every so often.

Shame on you; that is when you have to buy extra for your self too. Sometimes the snacks that you buy them you end up eating too. So for that you have to buy the snacks that are more fitting for you and not them but just as good in taste. I know for sure that those 100 calories snacks are good. Some of them I have tried and they are good. The kids would even eat them if you gave it to them. So don't feel too bad; it happens to all adults snacks. Just make sure the next time you go shopping that you get snacks for yourself too.

I bought a box of Sees sugar free chocolates for my best friend at Christmas and ended up having to get another one for her. lol also it served me right as something in the sugar free part caused a nasty case of the trots to the bathroom. served me right for eating my friends present. lol

Yeah, the sugar-free candies usually carry a warning in small print that "excessive consumption may have a laxative effect." I guess it's a nice Pavlovian way to get people to cut back on chocolate.

I think you were right. There is nothing wrong with sharing, especially when there was more than enough for what it was intended for.I have 3 kids and I have done that many times and there was plenty left for them,so it wasn't like I took all their treats.

Tee hee! You sound just like me. If there are cookies in the fridge that belong to my daughter, I'm more likely to eat them. I try not to do so, but sometimes I skip dinner to post on MyLot. It's well worth it though, I prefer chatting to eating. Except when it comes to cookies. And, later, when my daughter wants to know where her cookies went, I have to confess that Mommy ate them. Poor baby, she is never happy when she hears that!

Hi minnie_98214! haha..I do think it is Savannah who is the cylprit! haha..And to answer your question, well, yes there is a few times I did buy a gift intended for someone else but never gave it because I did like it for myself. And in the end, I just gave her something else. haha.. Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!

If I used to buy my Dad a box of choccies for a gift then I used to always end up eating that box, then I would have to go out and buy him a new box. Why I did it I have not got a clue, it may be because he was very mean with his chocs when I lived with my parents and did not like sharing!! He is OK now though because I am not as addicted to chocolate as I used to be and so I no longer feel the need to eat the chocolates I buy him as a gift!!

I did this all the time when I was pregnant I would literally eat anything in site though lol. But now it is my boyfriend. I buy my daughter the Dora gummy snacks and he can't get enough of them. He says its unfair that Destiny gets the name brand and he gets the cheap one lol.
