If you could give any person a blue ribbon, to whom would you give it and why?
I will have to think on that a bit...maybe my youngest daughter juggling 2 babies and working..plus keeping a cool head on her shoulders!

There is a clear winner for me Rosie. My wife. She has supported and loved me unconditionally for over 22 years, especially ove the past couple of years that have seen a huge change to he way that we live following my illness. I cannot imagine life without her. She has borne us a beautiful daughter and makes my wold complete. But I'd also like a blue ribbon for all my myLot friends too. They have all helped me too and I love them all.

RoseKitty, my award would have to go to my husband. He works so hard, and he puts up with so much from the boys and myself. Most of the time he does so in a long suffering manner. We can all be a handful sometimes :))))

After having pondered this for a very long time. I would have to say that I would definately give the Award to My Teacher. I'm not a very patient person , But Because of Him I am learning patience , and have truly found God ...for the first time!
There is nothing on this planet that can be this can be measured to , or By. His gift to me.....I thought was simply unobtainable.
But...Once again he has proven me wrong. Perhaps that's why He's the Teacher and I'm the Student.
God Bless you Teaches! I know he has Blessed Me!

I'd have to give a blue ribbon to my best girlfriend.
I used to type for college students. I was working on a Master's thesis for a student when I was rushed to the hospital with an ectopic pregnancy (ruptured fallopian tube).
In the emergency room, I asked my mother to call my friend to see if she could help with the thesis while I was in the hospital (I needed immediate surgery).
She came over the next morning at 7 a.m. and worked until 1 a.m. the next morning. She has a family of her own, two sons and a husband, and she was pregnant at the time as well. But she dropped everything because she knew how important this thesis was for the student and how important it was for me to get it done. She even fed my husband and two other children.
She wins the Blue Ribbon of the Year! Thank you, Debby, for all you've done for me!
