American Idol winner for 2008

i just saw in the Tv who finally won the American idol 2008. according to the judges, this season is the best ever they had. they had the best singers ever. David Cook won the title. i think he is really good. and he deserve it. what do you think about david Cook? did you try voting for him?

I just watched Amercian Idol too. I really didn't care who won tonight. I didn't care for either of the David's throughout the whole show. They have limited talent. Michael John's and Jason Catro were my favorites. They could sing any kind of song. A couple of the girls were also good. I was honestly disappointed this year with American Idol over all. I may not watch it anymore because alot of good talent was voted out early.

I agree on the part of not watching it anymore. I will never watch or vote for American idol again.

"CherishC" Yeah. It was very disappointing for me this year. "chechuva" Yeah. Some of the song choices were bad but some of them they had no choice on. They were chosen by Simon, Randy and Paula. I am just disappointed about it but I am also happy for those who wanted David Cook to win. I rhink American Idol made him the singer that he is.

As far as i can remember, Michael and Jason was voted out because they chose wrong songs for them. i believe it is important as a singer to know what song fits your voice. but yes they are really good singers.

I am so upset that David A didn't win. He is my American idol even though he didn't win. I'm going to an American Idol concert this year, my first time going to an American idol concert and the first time I voted over 1200 times for someone on American idol and the first time ever that someone paid me cry by singing. I'll be holding up a sign that says David A is my American idol because I don't think Cook deserved to win....

Wow good for you, you can watch their concert live. you really did a great thing for David A. voting for 1200 times is a lot. they are both really good. maybe its just the David C's fans devotion for him to vote made him win.

I failed to follow this season but I watched the news this morning and gosh, he is truly a winner, great performer! I know I miss all of his performances but I am hoping I can watch them at you tube!LOL!

i was very happy when Ryan Seacrest announced that David Cook won ;D David Cook is my fave from the start of the season. I saw how much he grew while on the show. He's really good and really deserves to win.

I think David Cook rocks. What a voice. I got chills hearing him sing several times throughout the season. I also like David A. I was going to be happy with any outcome.

I'm glad he won. David A. was a good singer, but I liked David Cook more. His music is more what I would buy. I don't really see myself (or any of my friends) buying a David Archuleta cd. It was cute when he won. He seemed very humbled. I was surprised he was the winner, I figured it would've been David A.

David Archuleta is also a good singer but he have a different voice with Cook. David A is like a balladeer, and David C is a rocker. i actually thought i was David A, since he's a cute guy and the good guy type.

Good on him for winning even though I voted for David A. I would buy his cd any day.
