Regularly watching to news is a good habit. But I have a question here, thatis, "Do news makers also watch news regularly?" Please discuss your views on this.

I try to watch the news every day. I like to keep up sometimes on what is going on locally and around the world when big events happen. I mainly like to see the weather also so I can plan my days out. I do not watch it every time that it comes on each day but I do try to watch it at least one time per day. I think alot of news channels look for stories that will interest alot fo people in general though.

They must because with some stories they use the exact wording to report the story. Many of the TV Anchors are hired for their looks and voice and not their brains. It is the producers that figure out what they will say and what questions they will ask. I had a chance to sit in on a new conference where there were some TV Reporters and they had to ask cold questions. Three different reporters ask the police when they could visit the scene of an explosion. 1. When will we be able to view the scene? Answer When the air quality is safe. 2. When will you let people into the area? Answer When the Air quality is safe. 3. When will we be able to shoot video of the scene? Answer when the Air Quality is safe. Each one appeared to have the question written down and just asked with out listening to the others. One national reporter was asked about the new White House Correspondent and their line of questioning. He replayed that the reporters of today have only a couple of questions to ask the President and so you get many reporters asking the same question. The older reporters would have 8-10 questions and would write the response and not repeat the question.
